As much as I hate to say it, I think Muller's absence throws the advantage to Spain. All of Germany's success (and I mean ALL of it) has been from Muller and Ozil swapping positions and making phenomenal runs and always the perfect pass or shot. Not to mention Muller helps out in defense immensely and is the key man in all the counter attacks. Spain wins 2-0

As a Germany fan I want to see Torres starting, but as a soccer fan, I hope it's Pedro.

well, I thought the fourth goal today was the best, due to Özil's inch-perfect ball to Klose ... haha, but yeah, Thomas Müller has been immense! and I'm fairly pissed at the ref for making that call, coz: 1) it looked to me like Messi had handled the ball before it got to Müller; and 2) Ángel di María had a truly deliberate handball called against him in the first half, but got no card for it ...

I want Spain to progress, but not because Germany were missing one of their most valuable players and were therefore a compromised team ...

I think it will all depend on how many goals Germany can get before Fabregas is brought on for Torres. If its still tied or Germany winning by just one goal, then Spain will most likely take it.

Not a bad point. Pedro (probably my favorite player in the world who doesn't play for Bayern and isn't a "superstar") would giver Germany fits. But if Torres is wasting all of Spain's chances, then perhaps they/we have a chance.

I still feel like Muller is the key. Him and Ozil are so good together that those two make Germany's front 4 look fluid when the truth is that Poldi and Klose don't move at all. I'll be yelling at the top of my lungs for Deutschland (uber alles), but unfortunately I don't think we'll be on top of the rest of der Welt.

GERMANY no doubt about it ...
plus spain has not played with a bigger team to prove himself in this cup. this is their fist big match and they´ve played rather poorly against average or more available teams... (just like argentina did until they meet with the german sausage)...

on the other half we have germany. a team that had already done much better and played with big teams and beaten them (4 - 1 to england and 4-0 to argentina)

so GERMANY and Holland will be my final
