They don't have a decent striker..their midfield is an absolute crap.. Requelme is wayyyyyy overated..looks tired and doesn't have any desire to play football. I am glad that Arsenal is going to Paris because Villareal really don't deserve to go any further. I am wondering how did they get this far.

Um, what are you talking about? One penalty miss doesn't make a player overrated. He is a consistent performer and definately deserves all the praise he gets. If you think the leading goal scorer in La Liga last season is not a decent striker, you have no idea what you're takling about.

2) I cant imagine what Riquelme must be thinking now. Like this is going on the top 10 saddest moments in football, **** that, sports history (the chance to make history, I was 190% sure Villarreal was winning it in Extra time).

3) But out of all that, Riquelme had the BALLS to take such a shot. Players like Eto should be jerking off to that type of courage.

But they can be very proud about this Champions League season, Lille, Benfica, Manchester, Rangers and Inter, excelent teams that couldn't win to this humble team
The next season surely they will be in UEFA cup winning intertoto cup, I hope they win it.

Franco played great today (well, in the midfield). I showed up in the 2nd half at the bar and everyone told me that Franco missed three sure goals (this guy really needs to learn how to finish and they wanted Jose Mari in <who proved to be terrible>......but besides that, I saw him great in the midfield (and he tried really hard, probably harder than anyone on that team)
