Very Strange problem... HELP!!!!

I have a very strange problem in Fifa 2004, I was playing in the carrer mode in the Serie A and all was good, but the game crash when my team has to play tuesdays or wednesdays, when the team plays opn sunday, theres no problem but is when the team has to play other day than sunday that the game crashes... now the thing that I did was that I skip that games, and everything was ok, but know I have the same problem when I play a custum tournament... and the worst part is that on a tournament mode you can't skip games

please help me!!!!

Reinstall

I would erase all your files. And do a game reinstall

I did it, I reinstall the game, but still have the same problem...
Could the problem may be that I used DBEdit to edit Serie A league to add Fiorentina and the promotions teams? I add to Seie A Palemo, Fiorentina, Messina and Atalanta and I put Peugia, Ancona, Empoli and Modena in Serie B...
Hercules told me that I could use this tool to make this changes... could this be the problem???

I think I would need more specific information of your method. I suppose you literally exchanged all the players using DBedit. Right? Then physically changed all the kits and graphics?

Or did you do it by changing the team # in the league. But you can't do that with DBedit, so I don't think you did it that way.

Are you having that same problem with the same season you were playing before, or do you have the same problem when you start a new season.

Ok, in DBedit you can exchage literally teams on leagues, what I did was that a exchange Fiorentina with Modena, then Palermo with Empoli, Messina with Perugia and Atalanta with Ancona... I did this by removing one team from Serie A and adding the team that I want to put in Serie A... the the same in Serie B

And I have the problem when I start a new season and when I start a new tournament...

I noticed

I notice that when you change the team # in the league data that the game will crash when you play a game with that team. I think that is a common problem. and Don't know any solution, I just think that it is a problem that nobody has figured a solution. That is possibly a reason why nobody has release any patches like that.

One thing that you could do is keep the same teams where they are. Exchange all there players. Then Exchange all there graphics using BigGui. But don't exchange the teams using the dbedit program. But change the names. Then the leagues in the data base have the same #s as originally, so it wouldn't create a problem.

This is not a simple solution, but it would work. It is just like creating a new team.

Sorry if this is confusing to you, hope you get what I'm saying.

You can do the player switch easily with Creation Center.

Yeah, it could be a solution, but the problem is that now I can't change the teams back coz I keep geting the same problem

I think what I will have to do is wait to get Fifa 2005

If I were to fix you problem, just start from a fresh fifa.db and start over.

Anyway. the best thing to do, wait for fifa 2005, its only a couple of weeks away.
