2.Marquez-Hell no, how about an american or at least Terry or Gerrard
3.Tevez- ok, but still unknown in the US
4.Kaka- yes cause he is known in both markets but one brazilian is good enough
5.Pizarro-nope

Donovan- for the US cover cause he is our only major known player except for Adu

but who really does care about the cover, what matters most is the gameplay

yeah i would also love to see Shevchenko on the cover, but really who cares. How much time do u actually look at the cover (probably 1-2 times)

I wouldn't be surprised if they put Freddy Adu, Steven Gerrard, and Samuel Eto'o on the cover. I don't see any conflict there. Maybe Adu just in America. Baros would be a nice choice too.

Aparently people do, seeing how this thread IS about the cover AND people ARE talking about it. SO to answer your question yes some people do care about it.

Well anyways Id like to see a non-american on the US cover, whoever that may be.

Thats what I was thinking about too. Just like the Euro 2004 cover just had the logo and the ball/net combo. Maybe they could make a decent cover like that. But then again thats kind of like there "theme" on there sports games, is to have a cover athlete. Heck why don't some of you guys make a cover of how youd like it to looke like and post it here. Just a thought.

I dont really care about who's on the cover but I think they should put the FIFA player of the year on the cover, or maybe the best player from the winner of the Champions League. Like Gerrard for Liverpool for this year...
