I was impressed by them especially Rosicky, Pilar, Selassie and Jerasik.

I wasnt particularly impressed by them. They were alright, but honestly I cant see them posing a significant threat to Portugal. Portugal's weaknesses are a) dodgy goal keeper b) defense less good than midfield and c) postiga, and I think the czechs do not have the forwards to exploit the first two or the central defenders to exploit the latter. I give them a 10-15% chance at best.

A prime example by the way of why this system sucks. The head to heads I can live with, but the "minileague" is just beyond farcical.

He was perfect today, but utterly exhausted by the end.

It was a little surreal seeing Iniesta passing to Jesus Navas to win the match for Spain. It could have been two Sevilla players on the scoreboard if Rakitic had gotten his header right. I would say "it could have been three," but I knew Negredo would squander his opportunities.

Had Spain not won Italy wouldn't have qualified.



Sir_Didier_Drogba, Mario's reaction was pretty epic, he acted as if nothing big happened and just started walking back to continue the game. This however though did need one more goal so that might have had a little to do with it.
