    Well done Rangers :D
The final looks possible now we knocked out one of the favourites.

Bayern have been poor & were lucky against ABERDEEN :D

Personally I cant see any team winning it other than bayern - previously I would have said Fiorentina had a good chance but watching them against everton revised my opinion.

Think Fiorentina were lucky against Everton, and need to do much more to win the cup

Zenit St. Petersburg is the team to watch.

I think the holders do, unless they qualify for the Champions League.

Yeah that's right. Hopefully the winners won't be in the CL. A tournament without its holders defending the trophy loses something.

Europe is purely a matter of priorities -

Take Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal they would all probably much prefer to win the Champions League, whilst for Liverpool fans at least the league is of greater importance.

Bolton are in a similar position that staying in the Premier League is more important to their long term future than staying in the cup. Spurs and Everton were in aposition to try their hardest as silverware would have made their season

staying in the premiership is worth a lot more £££ to english clubs, than using your valuable players in a cup which you have no realistic chance of winning anyway.

i can remember last season, Steve Coppell the Reading manager, saying he didnt want his club to push on and get the 5th/6th place, (when they were midtable). because he didnt want Reading to be too spread out next season, trying to balance the premiership AND the uefa cup, and eventually getting relegated, just like Ipswich Town.

Bayern-Getafe, always the same story, we could score 6 goals in the 1st half, then in the 2nd we missed 2 incredible chances, and leave to the spanish team 2 great chances to score, finally they scored and for me they have deserved the goal, I got to be honest, this is football, klar Bayern is strongest that Getafe but they'r a good team that plays good football, so I think we are ruled out, obviously I hope to qualify but now it could be very very hard, Getafe supporters are great in that little stadium, so win the best; shame for Leverkusen, 1-4, incredible, Fiorentina-PSV 1-1, Rangers-Sporting 0-0, only Zenit is qualified, I'd like to see Bayern in semifinal with Rangers and PSV with Zenit, why not? But football is strange sometimes......:(

It's a little bit much, Getafe has played a good match yes, but in the 90 minutes Bayern has dominated the field, I repeat Getafe deserved the drawn, but we miss too many chances, in Bundesliga it's the same, I admit everything, Getafe is a really good team but Bayern on defence has been to bad to be true.....

Looks like I didn't miss much in the rangers-sporting game.. Good to know I can look forward to the return leg.

Getafe sure look like they can pull the big upset. According to stats, Getafe have scored in every game and have one loss out of five at home... In Uefa cup.

Indeed they actually have a really good shot of maybe even winning it now, they could actually win 2 titles this year. CDR and Uefa cup would be something else for them. De la Red and Granero giong on loan was the best thing for us.
