Time to get my mind off the damn PSV game. There's another Dutch team in the semi-finals obviously. AZ are trailing 2-1 but got the all-important away goal (:/)

I don't know what to expect, AZ just may end up in the final. Hoping for a good match if anything.

Buskermolen and Lindenbergh are suspended. Opdam is back from suspension so he replaces Buskermolen but you still have a gap in midfield.

Sporting are without Pinilla, thank God. He scored a hattrick this past weekend and is suffering from injury.

Sporting to win. 2-0, probably.

AZ is a good team, but since they lost in the 1st leg they will have to attack more and go after the goal today. This will mean they will let more space at the back and Sporting's attacking players are extremely dangerous when given space. I think they will take advantage of this to score.

The final will be Sporting - CSKA.

hehe, honestly, that means squat. Pinilla has been totally useless all season in every game he's played. That hatrick had fluke written all over it, just the weekend before he missed about 3 goals from point blank range vs. Academica.

The main danger for AZ is Liedson, he doesn't miss from close range and he'll have a bit of room to work with since AZ will have to open up.

Liedson is Sporting's and Portugal's top scorer this season, so I think AZ should worry about him instead of Pinilla.

I'm going for 2-1 AZ Alkmaar, which means we'll end up with extra-time. I'd like to see either team through to the Final, but whoever goes through I think they'll very likely be playing CSKA Moscow.

I was cheering for Sporting a couple games ago but lately i've been standing some Sporting fans and they really became annoying with their arrogance, because of that now i want them to lose... still to be realistic i think they'll be on the final and probably get the trophy. Well at least the portuguese football is being well represented, it was time that was not only Porto to make points to the portuguese UEFA ranking.

There you go talking about the arrogance of others again...and this from someone who's sig can easily be interpreted as shameless arrogance, but ofcourse when it's about Porto it's never arrogance, only pride! :rolleyes:
