Obviously there's some bias, but it's not like I'm choosing Barca players just because they play for Barca, but that's who I've seen play the most, and therefore they've had the best chance of impressing me. Some really close calls there, though. Silva not far behind Iniesta, but Andres snatched it for me, as Silva wasn't performing on this level for the first half of the year. Abidal vs Marcelo was also a very close call. RvP should make a team like this, but there's only 2 spots for forwards, and the world's 2 best players are forwards, so...

Close calls for me were:

GK: Casillas is definitely the best GK in the last decade, but Valdés had a fantastic season, he saved Barça so many times last season and he won my spot.

CB: Thiago Silva was surely the obvious choice there, and I remained to pick between Vidic, Pique and Mascherano. To be honest, I didn't see much of Vidic last season, so I picked El Jefecito... Very underrated player, he is one of my favourites in this Barcelona team and he brought us a lot of safety in the defence last season.

LB: Abidal vs Marcelo: The brazilian was fantastic after March, but I'd put Abidal along with Mascherano, Messi, Xavi and Valdes as a base player for our success last year.

RM: Götze vs Nani. Decided to pick mario because I love his style. However, Di Magía is a RM and a LM and he would've been my pick there.

Picking Silva over Iniesta is a joke. Silva is probably the only player at the moment at Iniesta Xavi or Fabregas' level. But the team is based on the whole year. Silva didn't shine at all in the 2nd part of last season, as well as Falcao didn't in the first part of this one unlike RvP, Messi or CR.

Um, no you're wrong. Iniesta is a great player, but IMO not tremendously influential in that Barca side. Doesn't offer anything that other players don't do and other players can't do.

And the biggest joke that people seem to be picking to me is Pique. Overrated as all hell.

Clash editing Heskey into his team is phenomenal.

Oh, and **** all of you who picked van Persie because as good as his goal scoring has been, Gomez's has been better.

Finally, Nani is better than Gotze and has performed better. Just because Sir Alex seems to not realize how good Nani is and benches him for the Champions League Final for a player who may not have been fit, doesn't make it any less so.
