Tutorials - How to make New Leagues, unlock CONMEBOL teams, licence Unlicenced teams

Here is a simple Tutorial on how to make New Leagues in FIfa, Unlocking "hidden" CONMEBOL teams, licence unlicenced teams in FIfa.

First part of Tutorial is preparation and Unlocking CONMEBOL teams, soon i will update with more Tutorials.

FIFA 21 TUTORIAL - Part 1
Unlocking South American teams

You will need:

DB Master & RDBM

Fifa Editor Tool or Frostbite Modding Tool

1) Make backup of your Squad file (Documents/FIFA21/settings) or in Fifa 21 (just remember which Squads file you want to mod).

I updated squads to the latest ones before i made backup in Fifa 21:​

2) Exit Fifa and open Editor tool (which one you prefeer). I’m using FMT by Paulv2k4.
Export Legacy db files (eng_us-meta ; eng_us ; fifa_ng-meta ; fifa_ng).
Make copies (recommended).

3) Open DB Master and open fifa_ng-meta & fifa_ng. Then EXPAND DB - IMPORTANT !!! Then save and reopen DB Master.

Now you are ready to make Mods !

How to put those CONMEBOL teams (already in Fifa: Libertadores, Sudamericana) in Rest of World and make them playable in Career mode?

Also, (in NEXT Tutorial) we will replace unlicenced Argentina (Nunez and Buenos Aires) and Brasil (Oceanico) with original ones already in Fifa 21
(River, Boca and Corithians).​



4) Again open DB Master and fifa_ng-meta & fifa_ng. On the left, click on leagues and there you can see all the leagues in Fifa with their ID’s.
Search for Rest of World (ID 76).
This step is just to see ID of league you want to change, I will modify Libertadores (1003) and Sudamericana (1014).

5) Now lets go to leagueteamlinks, here we can change in which league a certain team should participate. So we will link ALL CONMEBOL teams with Rest of World,
changing all league 1003 ids with 76, also do this with all 1014 ids.

- After you did all this, export single table (leagueteamlinks) and save DB.

Then import those fifa_ng-meta & fifa_ng in Editor tool.

Before Launching, open Squads file you want to modify with RDBM and import leagueteamlinks you just exported from DB Master.

Save RDBM, go back to Editor and LAUNCH the game.

You should see all CONMEBOL teams in Rest of World.

Try it.

Great tutorial, very good! I have read your post on free modding and I agree with you. Since 2017 I have been following the modders in a forum in my country (Italy), we all started together and we were a good ten. I'm the only one left of that group.
p.s. can you insert the 5 substitutions from Frosty even in simple tournaments (not in career)?

When You install European Expansion Pack (EEP 2.03) the guys created European League and Conference League tournaments but only in career mode. Do You think is it possible to move those two tournaments to for example some country tournament list like Poland or USA so that those tournament are available not only in career mode?

Do you know if it is possible to change the Champions League as a tournament (no career) and eliminate the away goal which is worth double?
