Toys r us selling the ps2 fifa early?

if you do the search for FIFA 2006, the other consoles still have a October 4th relese date, but the ps2 version says shipping 2-3 days?

I called Toys R Us in Grand Rapids, MI and they didn't get it in today. They said to check back tomorrow since most all new releases come out on Tuesdays. I'm guessing that someone just hasn't updated their website.
Sam Goody is expecting it to be available Oct 4th.

I have heard Oct. 4th to Oct. 10th :| I hope that its the 4th or sooner

I used to live in Grand Rapids a couple of years ago and i used to go to Toys R Us to buy my games. I bought FIFA 97-2000 there, Weird huh?

bust buy has Spanish version on sale 9/28. what's the difference between english and spanish versions? does the Spanish version only have a Spanish cover but the ability to have game commentary/menus in English or Spanish like last year?

OMG!!! If this is true, I'm going tomorrow to Best Buy and I'll be the first one in the store. Seriously :D

I don't give a **** about the "english version", I rather hear soccer in my native lenguage, nothing against English but this year they have better spanish commentators IMO. I'm also praying for better ratings in the Mexican league... :nape:

Hope this is true, I'll call Best Buy today. :jap:

let me know if you can change the menu language, and whether or not they have english commentators as well. if it's just the cover a may have to go pick it up.

i hope for the next generation the commentators are in the native language of the home team. if i play psg at home for instance, i want to hear french commentators, etc.

In Australia it should be out in all consoles today im just so pissed cause i wont be able to get a copy untill my exams are over in 5 weeks because if i do get a copy im guarantied another fail in this semmester at uni

Stopped by the store today, they didn't have it on the shelf. The guy got all confused and said it should be here if that's what the website says. I'm guessing they're just not updating the website.

I have read that it will br out on the 4th on all systems in the US.

And yeah WilliamFAlmeida i used to live like 20 min from Grand Rapids in Lowell, Michigan from 1997-2001.

It seems to have come out on PS2 here in Aus, strange tho that EA's site in Aus still has it listed as being about 5 days away. I'm trying to find out about the other versions.

Pirated copies are out here in Malaysia. My friend just bought & played it yesterday. Said it is indeed a pleasant departure from previous fifa games.

It's not. I called yester day and went today just for the hell of it and I din't see it on the shelves. I didn't even see any FIFA games at the store.

My best chance is to buy it at EB Games or Games Stop, both are within 1 mile...and it's definitely coming out on TUESDAY.

went to best buy yesterday, nothing. i think best buy had it wrong, there is no spanish edition. as for amazon/toys'r'us, i'd guess ignorance was the cause of that. preordered mine from eb, ships on the 4th, but they won't seel till the wednesday the 5th. only thing to now is to look around the oficial website for info to hold us over.
