Time to apogize to Malcolm Glazer

What exactly is he doing behind the scenes that's so much different from previous years? Not selling off the best players? We weren't doing that before either.

People that were saying about drastic changes at United were mostly Arsenal/Liverpool fans hoping for a United downfall and an Old Trafford Leeds-like sale and maybe a few paranoid United fans that don't know anything about business or how to run one. Glazer destroying United team in the first year of ownership would be almost like Bill Gates creating an unfixeable virus that destroyes Windows without any chance of recovery. That's just not gonna happen.

And like i said, the signs for this season's success began when we sold Beckham and Veron and bought Ronaldo. That's when we started changing our style of play and begginging to create a whole new team. Now that's correlation and causation. Just because our rivals didn't see it, doesn't mean it wasn't there.

He didn't mess around with SAF. I remember SAF fighting with the 2 major shareholders over a horse. You think Man U would win the title when he's busy fighting for his horse?

Why would he do that if he has the best manager in the world in charge of his team? You don't get rid of most prized asset if you want to succeed.

Every club has debt. Are you going to wait and see if Bayern building the Alianz Arena was a good idea until it is paid off?

NO club has been used to PAY OFF debt like this.....they maybe be a money generating machine, but even they WILL feel the long term effects of having so much of their earnings going towards one single item on the balance sheet.

Only a long term analysis (after 10 odd years) can truly tell whether the plan is truly working and, even if it is, it would be tought to apologize for saddling the club with debt that WOULD not had they stayed public.....if they really felt it NECESSARY to improve the on the field product, the board of directors could have just gone down the route of a simple renaming (by selling naming rights) of Old Trafford to something like The Sir Matt Busby Stadium in order to generate enough funds to buy better players...there was no NEED for Glazer to "rescue" the club and provide them with a better "transfer kitty" than what they had. Apologise for buying a club..but not really..buying...the...club!

I really find pretty ridiculous how people in SG come out with those % numbers from out of their arses. "Rooney improved 200%! Glazer's contribution for the title has been 2% this season", not to mention the rest of what could been called formidable math heh?

Based on what? What's your calculations?

You think all of that reported £70m is all Glazers money? Haha..

If it would have gone into his pocket had they not spent it, then yes it is his money.

There is no way that we would have spent that much this summer, if it wasn't for the new EPL TV deal.

But to be honest we can't complain about Glazer. He is a bitch for putting us that much in debts, so there is no way that we are gonna apologize to him, but he has a plan and he knows how to get that debts back, so there is no need to harass him either.
