Hey guys,

I'm now starting a thread about stuipid, but also funny bugs and mistakes that can be found in FIFA 09. Things which make you say "what were they thinking?". So if you find some of these, please post them here anyway if video or screen...
I think they're is much to find and I hope you enjoy the thread.


I start now with an example and show you a really cheap mistake in the game:


You know what this should be?
In FIFA 09 this is the trophy for the German 2nd Bundesliga.:innocent_smile_1:
Asides from the fact that the 2nd Bundesliga doesn't really have its own trophy, have you ever seen a football or even any other sports trophy haveing a gravure on it saying "Jeff Fowler, volunteer firefighter of the year"?
I mean now it's getting rediculous, it's just like what were the guys thinking who were responsible for this mistake?:icon_spin:

In my opinion the big mistake is pass procedure. If you pass in first touch the player will return the ball making an 1-2. Bad! If you pass to your advanced striker and he will pass to second striker with his head, the second striker will pass back EVEN YOU DON'T TOUCH ANY BUTTON! Bad!
And the weird thing about crossbar? You shoot under, the ball is bouncing down but it goes out! Ha!Ha!
When I was saying before this game is another "I-DONT-KNOW-ANYTHING-ABOUT-FOOTBAL" canadian game, wow! big scandal! Now, enjoy'it.

This one is classic, I think most of you already know it from the past FIFA's...



Everytime I see this, I really wonder if the guys who created this stadium ever heard of things like transparency or alpha textures...(Y)

Oh and not to forget, there's is a strange hole in the main stand.

THAT STADIUM GIVES ME THE ****S! especially cos i used to play with that as my home stadium when i did a manager mode with accrington stanley :P

i also got a ball go straight through the cross bar with xavi in 09

No Shader / tiny Radar

OK the shading on the ball not that big of a deal {?}, however, what is with the size of the Radar? Maybe this attached pic does not do the reality justice, but the thing is friggin' tiny! Any suggestions to enlarge Radar in resolution 800x600 32bit? If I increase resolution, I get that video choppiness that has plagued me no matter how new / upgraded my computer is.

Arayas, I had the same concern. I use a Logitech Cordless WingMan. After messing with the configuration, I now no longer have to do 1-2 passes when I intended simply a first touch pass. Not sure exactly what I did, but with this configuration, when I hold in R2 and pass {10 key} and pass, then it is a 1-2. Hope this helps you!

Now, I want that everybody see that:
The player who receives the ball and shoot over goal is in offside position. Then, surprise! Look who is assingned to execute the free kick!

LOL, arayas... what a classic glitch, I also had this a dozen times. The developers aren't doing anything to fix things like this, I mean it was already in last year?!?


But I also got a new bug...

I had that happen in '08; the whole team would leave the pitch. They'd come back on after the next stoppage; it was very bizarre.

yeah ive had all the players off the pitch and the ball through the crossbar for a goal happen to me too... i was amazed when my opponent didnt score when i was only playing with a goalie haha

when the captain is subbed, the the player who gets the armband wears a full shirt... and i found this in career mode ... crazy stuff , two players wearing armband :o

I had the same thing happen in my game in a cup final. I didn't know what to do, so I pressed the "pass" button on my controller and scored the winning goal as the keeper was way off his line. It felt like cheating.

i didn't buy this game for the PC and i'm glad. It looks more bug ridden than ever. The work on that trophy is just plain careless as is the hole in the stadium, and why on earth would everyone stand in the centre circle for a throw? The one where everyone leaves the field is an old glitch, i've had that in fifa 08 and they scored from it.
