I'm just curious, how's that possible that Dinamo isn't a regular participant in the CL? You always sell the best of your players for huge money and still appears in the CL only from time to time. What has happened to the money you earned in the last decade?

Yea, we always sell our best players, that's why we don't have bigger success... and we always have bad luck... Modrić, Eduardo, Ćorluka, Kranjčar are only one of the examples. And money we earned from selling Modrić is nowhere to be seen. Sure we did some good buyings, like Tonel and Cufre, but it should be done more.

Most of money we earn from players goes directly to pocket of our executive chairman, Zdravko Mamić. He is one crazy bi*ch, but without him Dinamo would not be successfull as it is... maybe... And he is really good in extracting money from big clubs.

Our stadium is almost falling apart. Although now renovated and manicured, its still very old and not good looking. We use to call our stadium "Maksimir's disgrace". There was full attendace last few matches, but mainly because tickets were 1 kn (it's less than half Euro).

This year we have really young team. There is one player, a 17 year old midfielder, Mateo Kovačić, and he is the youngest player in our league. That kid have potential to be better player than Modrić.

And this year we finally did something... Cant wait to see all those youngster to play CL...

I love teams such as Dinamo or Partizan which are talent - factories, always provides quality players to the biggest clubs in Europe. In my opinion the most talented players come from the former Yugoslavia. I've been always impressed how such teams work with youth.

This year should be crucial for Dinamo. 10mln € only for getting to the CL is a huge benefit. A few good matches, played in a good style guarantees that more clubs will consider your players as a future signings. I'm sure you will earn enough money to start think about building new stadium. Wisła have an awesome stadium but lacks talented youth which is a serious problem these days. I hope it'll change someday.

It was the worst match of Polish team in the European competition I've seen in my life. Wisła was so close, so close to the gates of paradise. APOEL was just better today and better six days ago. I hope they will succeed in the group stages. Football is the most brutal sport in the world.

Dinamo finally qualified after 12 years, but barely. Good first half, then red card in second followed with two goals. And last 10 minutes were horror...

I couldn't sleep last night. That game is still on my mind. I just can't deal with it. I've been waiting so long and I still have to wait at least one season. It's killing me right now. It hurts the most when you're just one step from your dream and in the last minutes you get kicked out. What a fantastic holidays; first I got dumped by my girlfriend and now Wisła is out of Champions League. Can't be better.

I hope we sign De Bruyne already and that I get to see him play for Genk this season. I was conflicted about the Haifa-Genk match because it was an Israeli club vs a potential Chelsea player being in the CL, but we'd better sign him now.

I'm hoping the stall is due to Chelsea or De Bruyne waiting to see whether Genk are in the CL to decide where he'll go on-loan.

So... Fenerbahce have been pulled out of the Champions League for match fixing, which might mean Arsenal get in regardless of their result tonight because of their high coefficient. Crazy.

here's hoping for a nice accessible group for Porto...It'd also be cool to play different teams, it kind of sucks getting the same teams facing us every couple of seasons...

For Benfica the best would be something along these lines:

Arsenal
Benfica
Basel
Otelul


But there's a bigger probability of Benfica getting either Barça or Real instead of Arsenal for instance, because they cannot be placed in the same group as Villareal or Valencia.

Either way, City's group won't be an easy one.
