That's right bitches!!

Can't believe how smoothly the season has gone really. Been a nice change scoring and winning so much! But I'm glad to go straight back up.

Ready to go straight back down?

This being NUFC, going straight back down again is just as likely as qualifying for the Champions League.

... ok maybe not.

Would be interesting to see when they go up whether the board will stick by the manager once a bad run of results come along.

In other news, West Brom has made their annual hop between leagues. Seriously, can they just make up their damn minds? I'm sick of watching them teeter back and forth - either splash a little cash and get yourself enough quality to STAY in the prem league or quit taking up promotion spots.

It seems unlikely, but not impossible that all 3 relegatess (as such) could all rebound back to the premier league, would that be for the first time in history?

I'm glad Newcastle will be back. The Premier League misses them. They never belonged in the Championship anyway.

Please, your bad luck ended as soon as our old friend Lee moved out of town. The curse has been lifted.

It won't be long before all 3 relegatred clubs bounce back at the same time. Parachute payments are going to be extended to 5 years, so it's only going to be a atter of years before the the Premiership becomes an exclusive club for maybe 25 clubs at most, who will be too rich for the Championship clubs to stand a chance.

No I'm sure it's happened before - or it may just be that the three who went up, went back down again.

Anyway, Newcastle are one of those clubs that should be in the Premiership. They did well to keep the neucleus of their squad together - normally relegated clubs get stripped of their best players.

Plus another derby on the calendar - Tyne Wear derbies are brilliant to watch.

Well done, Toon. It will be weird to see them wearing Puma instad of Adidas, but it is evident that while they were not too big to go down, they are better than Fizzy Pop Footy.
