it would be pretty cool to include Eto'o in that deal . If Eto'o doesn't want to wait another year to play in Real Madrid, we could sell him to Liverpool . Benitez was his coach when he was in the youth team of RM, and Liverpool is a big club. In that case, we would get Owen, and Barcelona wouldn't get Eto'o

Florentino knows that Eto'o won't accept any of the offers from Real Madrid, he is just delaying the transfer of Eto'o to Barcelona. Basically, you can't trade with a player that is not yours.

I hope this ends the next friday definitely after Real Madrid reject to buy the other 50% because if they sign him without his approval(I don't know if they can) this will never end. If they buy the other 50% there will be more troubles because for Barça and Eto'o the deadline expired yesterday.

Ronaldo is always a guarenteed starter, and because of Raul's past achievments, he has upper hand on Morientes/Owen. How will the striker that misses out be able to handle being on the bench? im interested to see wat happens.

I seriously see no point in Real Madrid getting Owen. They should just keep Morientes, clear up the Eto'o crap, get Vieira, and another DM and CB and possibly some more midfield additions (not big name galaticos, but backups) and be done with things.

If Owen goes to RM he won't be considered a starter, but probably as the 4th place striker in the squad. Why leave Liverpool where you are the main man to join Real where you will be benched a lot?

Sure the money, the fame, and a good squad are nice but would he rather be benched in a great team then play for a good team?

If Floren would really want to sign Owen and spend 30 m € on it, we wouldnt trying to reduce Vieira fee on 3 or 4 m €.

Do you think Valencia, Deportivo or Barcelona are easy teams ? no matter who sign for Real Madrid wont be easy to win the title anyway :/
