How many new players do you guys want, you better concentrate on building a strong team with the current crop of players you have, instead of bringing 4-5 players a year, that means rebuilding your team every 6 months, your current team should already be topping the table, considering the amount of money spent on players such as Diarra, Robinho, Ruud etc

Meh, we get linked with every player so its not a suprise but I dont get the hype with Ribery? Sure he has a lot of skill but he also has a bad attitude. Anyway I really doubt we will buy Ribery as we are ok in that position. I can only see us getting a CB, thats what Capello really wanted in the summer. As you said the current crop of players are very good and I can see them winning things for us. We just need to allow them to gel and than things should go right for us.

I have to dissagree with you. Real Madrid can really use creative midfielders. Gago is more of a 5. He shouldnt play just behind the forwards and if we ever play with two forwards(seems like a necessity since Raul is utter crap coming from the wing and adding nothing to the offense) we a really gonna need someone to help tput Gago offensively(and i mention Gago cause Diarra and Emerson are good defensive midfielder but an offensive liability when playing together. I cant see all that weight falling on Guti, the only playmaker we have in the middle but a guy who makes a superb sub but a mediocre starter. Kaka, Cesc fabregas and Xabi Alonso seem like guys who we wont get unless we load of like 50 and much more if it is Kaka. Ribery could come for 30 mill and i would love to see him coming

Ribery... how many times has he fallen out with a manager? He has an attitude problem. Anyway we could use another AMC like Guti to help him out but imo its not that needed. We already have Reyes, Robinho, and now Gago to help Guti. Capello wanted a CB this summer and not an AM so I don't see why he would want one now? Whats the point of getting Cesc or Xabi? They are like Gago ( position wise ) so why the hell should we even try to get them? Let Gago settle in and reach his abilites with us. In todays game an AMC/player ala Zidane or Guti is not so needed...

ribery i actually like him i wouldnt mind buying him, and i dnt agree, we only have one player that plays in that position and he is beckham.

robinho plays well in left midfield is uter crap in the right, but his best position i think is as a second striker and next season i excpect him to play there.

reyes again does ok in that position but his best position is left mid.

cicinho is right back he is utter crap in the right mid.

raul, does the job as in he runs around closing people down and gets to the box occaisionally but his best position is behind the striker.

so id say if we get ribery is a good signing that we need.

we do need more creativity in the midfield, definitely. I think we can get by with what we have right now, but this really needs to be addressed during the summer market. Guti being our top playmaker is kinda sad (nothing against him, of course)

A CB would be nice, but i think we can compete with our team as is

lol agree; this is turning kinda like a monopoly; they should learn from barca with so many players injured; tought i wouildnt mine 1 or 2 new players rijkaard said we wants to work with what he has ; look how good that has turned up for him:)
