The commentary can also be used from FIFA for PES. Someone is working on a patch for this, so Motson will be commentating in PES (which has pretty awful commentary). Also other sound effects like players reacting can be used. Really not a major job to take the best elements of FIFA and put them into PES to create the perfect footie game. I've not seen a single criticism against PES3 that will not be able to be edited on the PC version (when it's released), such as player names etc. Try editing all the problems with FIFA!

in my opinion, the ideal footy game is:
FIFA license and commentary
PES/WE gameplay

PES/WE is really bad in license and commentary

however, it is possible to put FIFA license & commentary into PES/WE
but impossible to put PES/WE gameplay into FIFA........

I'm just worried that you wont be able to create ALL the teams and leagues that FIFA has for PES...if you could them I'm there dude....If PES had all the licensing and stuff then it is way out on top....

okay, i have no idea what the fifa players thinking and mods are thinking.

An PES gamers just said fifa 04 is good becasue we can use some of their design and apply to us. Well done fifa. No offense , no bashing, ....

Then he comes an opionion we bashing the game again. Sign ...

Now this thread have become a VS thread. So is this done to prevent flaming ? or just mod is becoming over reacting, that fifa empire is gonna fall ?

I do except errors from judging, but before any big action is done reconsider, is it suitable.

I actually quite like the through ball in FIFA, whose strength changes depending on how long you hold down the button for.

The off the ball "thing" seems like a good idea, but i just feel its an excuse for compenating for bad AI. The great thing about WE7 is the almost invisible interface. You can make things happen without getting out the NASA space manual, following 10 steps just to make a fluid move. Why? Because you can see Henry peel off his marker BY HIMSELF in WE7, rather than wait for instructions from Houston.

In addition, although I find FIFA 2004 an improvement, it still fails to surprise me with any moves. WE7 constantly surprises me with deflections and sneaky CPU moves... it really is an amzing feat of programming!

I agree.

Players such as Henry, even Owen and Ronaldo are stubborn in FIFA 2004. There are no big difference in controlling different players in FIFA 2004.

However, how much you can get control of a player in PES 3 depends on the in-depth player attributes. For example, you can do whatever you want when you are controlling Zidane or Figo but you feel hard to control Rio Ferdinand because of the difference of player attributes.

When talking about reasonable points of how PES 3 better than FIFA 2004, FIFA fans always have nothing to say but "why PES fans always bashing FIFA". (Because PES 3 is much better than FIFA 2004.)
