The Only Thing Fifa is Better Than ISS

Fifa has more players and teams to choose from... while ISS does not.

But for gameplay and graphics, ISS is definitely better.

Hi folks,
do you notice there are more attributes in ISS than in FIFA?

I think it's a good idea to have more detailed attributes such as "positiveness" and "stamina"... coz even in case of Asian players, they may have good skills... great pace... but may not have the intensity to keep working in 90 mins.

ISS does better in this part...coz they allow the weak teams to have skillful/ quick players while those players can't stay quick/skillful for 90 mins.

FIFA should learn more from ISS... I guess

Also

In Fifa you can put the ball where YOU want. Through ball depend on how good you are as well as lobs, chips and passes. This feature is better than the passing system in ISS.

what? that's crap, FIFA's passing system is horrible, what's the use of putting the ball where you want when the damned thing is full of helium, your players make dumb runs, there's no difference if you pass with Rui Costa or a Sri Lankan midfielder, the graphics are hideous and the physics are terrible.

PES' passing system is revolutionary and realistic, you obvously haven't played this game.

I agree with "the Cro."

The graphics and physics of the winning eleven series are just incredibly realistic. What they lack is the data about the players. If EA hasn't acquired the right to the players' licence, FIFA is definitely worse than winning eleven.

Has anyone noticed how many defending players in corners in the FIFA games?

There are no players on the goal line and just not enough players in the box. The attacking team can always get a free header.

Yah. This is also a problem. The defence side has even fewer players than the offence side.

What a game!

Also, the cross ball is so unrealistic in Fifa. Those wingers don't need many space to cross the ball. Plus, the cross ball "never" creates any danger to the opponent. The goalie can always grab the cross ball perfectly.

It seems that the Fifa games have been designed exactly to suit the strikers. It is an attackers dream. The strikes are always on target.Compare this with PES when I nearly break my keyboard in frustration at times.PES is intense and breathtaking.:D

Another good stuff in FIFA that PES didnt have is Curl Shot.
And i think the movement in PES is more realistic than FIFA but the graphics is not. Player physic in FIFA look much better than in PES. Maybe in PS2 version its better but in PS its not.

Physics in SNES WinningEleven are better than FIFA's
FIFA is not football, it's hokey on grass and EA have no programmers who knows what the hell is a football match....

ISS for PC, the salvation of virtual football on PCs....

You're right about physics in snes. I never play Fifa in snes.
In PS fifa graphics is worst too. But i'm talking about Fifa in PC (with Direct3D off course). The new one. WC2002. have u play it? it have the best graphics for football game i ever played (I never played PES in PS2). But if compared with winning eleven 2000 in PS (even using best 3D in ePSXe), i think WC2002 is better. Even some of the movement in Winning Eleven like dribling or player losing his balance when try to make a header but the ball is too high is more realistic. But there is more feature of movement in WorldCup like sliding to avoid the ball go out to cross the line or losing balance when got tackling or do tackling or the way the player move to get the ball from the air is fun to see even maybe you probably see than unrealistic but its great.
By the way Fifa maybe not playing really playing like real football. But this is a good game taking genre of football and i have much fun when playing it. I like mixed arcade style of FIFA.
And Curl Shot really a good aspect in the game. U want to say its not real?? If its not then Stephane Dalmat won't score any goal with curl shot against Chievo last night then i will be very happy because juventus will be at top of the table right now.

Shuffle, there is curl shot in WE. Its just not blatantly overdone like FIFA. Just hold left or right after you kick the ball. The degree of swerve depends on the player you're using. Not everybody's a Beckam, you know;) .

BTW, how long have you played WE? Anybody who played WE long enough would realize you can curl your shots, especially with the likes of Beckam or Mihajlovic. Which makes you kind of suspect I guess. Have you really played WE?
