Hargreaves ain't comin'. All this would've been over and done with by now if he was. Ya think Bayern would let him go after all that hard talk?

I said it before and I'll say it again... lets make a move for Newcastle's new captain, Scott Parker! Come on Scottie, ya wanna win trophies don't ya?

Carlos Tevez's spell at Corinthians could be over after his agent revealed the striker was on the brink of a move to England.

The 22-year-old Argentina international was stripped of the captaincy by new Corinthians coach Emerson Leao and walked out on the club earlier this week.

He is now back in Sao Paulo in a bid to avoid a hefty fine but he has yet to train with the squad.

His agent Adrian Rucco said on Friday: "Tevez is very close to moving to an English club."

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Tevez, while Bayern Munich and AC Milan are also thought to be interested in the striker.

Tevez cost Corinthians a South American record fee of 18million in December 2004.

Alex Ferguson will complete the signing of hargreaves, but don't expect it to become news until the end of the window, he will be unveiled alongside Carlos Tevez with Ferguson opting for a 2 3 1 formation with Hargreaves and Carrick in the centre, Rooney and Ronaldo on the wings with Rooney given a free role similar to Ronaldinho's, Tevez playing just behind Saha. The fee's will be 17 million for Hargreaves and Tevez at a cut price 17.5m. Looks like it could be good times for Fergie, a line up that looks like it will play beautiful football, an addition we need at the moment in the premiership. Chelsea will sign Torres in order to prevent him joining any other premiership side next summer, the fee will be overpriced at 30+ million.

Manchester United are close to sealing the £16.9 million pound transfer of controversial Argentinean forward, Carlos Tevez.
The player, who has gone on strike from current club, Corinthians, will reportedly sign a five year contract with the Old Trafford outfit, by the close of the European transfer window. His agent, Adrián Ruocco, who has been in England trying to negotiate the transfer of Tevez to Manchester United, confirmed to the Placar agency, that his client was “very close to moving to a club in England”. Although he did not disclose the name of the club, sources in South America claim that Manchester United will be the eventual destination of Carlos Tevez.
This would represent a major coup for United as they had faced stiffed competition for Tevez’s signature from the likes of Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Internazionale. Chelsea were also very interested in Tevez and were even believed to have made a last minute bid for the player, in a complicated deal, which would have seen Tevez join French club, Rennes, on loan. However, the player rejected the move, sighting a preference to join Argentinean compatriot, Gabriel Heinze, at Manchester United, rather than go on loan to France, for a season.

We won't change the formation if a new player arrives, SAF has said numerous of times that he just want to add depth to the squad. Besides that the formation is working atm, so no reason to change the formation, getting players doesn't mean that we have to fit them all into the starting eleven.

Well United leave things to the last moment - look at the Rooney deal two seasons ago.

By the way I just saw a Japanese magazine about PES6 - Underneath is all the copyright details and included is "produced under licence from Manchester United merchandising - manchester united club crest copyright mu ltd 1997.

No more Manchester Red methinks!

As for today's game, Gary Nevile and Nemanja Vidic are out (Vidic broke his wrist in training) Expected midfield is: Park, O'Shea, Fletcher, Ronaldo.

Does anyone know what's happened to Kieran Richardson, he's not been in the squad for a bit.
