DD represents Downloader. If you bought the game through downloader, then you use that patch, otherwise, if you have DVD version of the game, you MUST download this patch.

Ive reinstalled fifa and download the Nordic English version but still cant work. ******* EA Sports. So which language must i installed then? EA Sports father, mother language?

It will be under "region"

I also had to make a clean install of fifa 07 to make the patch install !

Thanks for the tip, I'm downloading now the nordic version (I've found that region on the registry), although I live in Argentina,in South America :hump:

the best thing to do is check the registry to find out what version you have! it doesent matter if you are from mars,if the reg says that the region is nordic it is nordic!

I just read this and i think i have the same problem here altough i see you fixed it! When i change anything in the game the update rosters disappear and when i try to go and reset the old squads and get the new ones again then teams will have no players and the game crashes! Is it the same problem you were having? If so how did you fix it please?

Nah man, I always had players and my game alwyas worked but my issue was with going online and playing. Although I patched my game--since I had made changes to my online html templates (being only in english even when i played in other language) the game thought that i had the previous version and therfore would not let me play online.

I'm sorry, I just read what I typed and for many people it probably makes no sense so to answer ur question... No, my problems were with going online. You might want to do a clean uninstall and take it from there. If you modifies the game then testt to see if any of ur modifications are effecting the patch from properly working. Good luck man!

nutunited on the EA forum advised me that if you have installed the patch, but the rosters are not updated, or you have to keep updating them every time you load the game.

Open Fifa, go to team management-reset my squads. It should give u 3 options: 1) Cancel 2) Original Squads 3) Updated online squads. If you don't have the 3rd option, your patch didn't work. Choose the 3rd option if you have it.

Now, go into anything in team management, like kick-takers, and change something - for example change the right hand corner taker for some or other team. It will prompt you to save and overwrite previously saved game. Do this, and your rosters should be updated.

It works!

The DD versions are only for the digital download versions of the game (ie. if you purchased through the EA downloader)

EA F*cked up again and they should have created a patch for players with ATI Cards cause that one is much more wanted :rolleyes:

THERE IS NO fifa DB updated ! this patch bring us nothing ...it's just for the online users , in a way

well,i forgot to take a copy of my db when i had to reinstall to get the patch working,and my old db was updatad with almost all transfers :nape:
Now i have to begin editing from zero again :rolleyes:
why did not EA put in the readme file that the patch doesent change the DB

Can anyone pls pls pls upload the original fifa07.exe.Because my friend has given his copy of fifa 07 for a day,so i installed and applied the No cd Crack and now that friend is my enemy.pls help some :boohoo: :boohoo:

Many here don't know how to read or just have a reading comprehension problem so here it goes for petes sake...

IF YOU PLAY ONLINE THEN D/L THE PATCH>>>YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! IF YOU PLAY OFFLINE THEN DO NOT D/L IT.

A suggestion: If you have a big enough multi hard drives (or partitions) you can have 2 copies of the game. One patched version for online play, another not patched for editing.
