Gallas is having his medical.

From the bad to the great in one day.

Touré and Gallas at centrebacks, Sendo and Djourou as prospects! I couldn't ask for a better centreback collection.

its not great in "one day" yet. we need a left back. i think (if gallas comes) well use gallas as left back until clichy comes back and then play him centrally with toure and switch around with senderos also. but until clichy comes back gallas will prob be frustrated playing left back. also now that baptista is at arsenal its very unlikely rosicky plays the attacking midfield role in a 4-5-1, which in many peoples opinions is his best position. instead he will be sticking to the left midfield, whcih is certainly not his best position.

While I agree that our CB position is now SOLID. Our LB situation looks horrible. Well im glad greedy cun*ly is gone. Hoyte is horrible on the left. Flamini is good defensivly but offensivly he brings very little down that flank. Clichy is highly rated but also always injured. Traore is still very young and unexperienced at top flight.

Will Wenger play Gallas at LB and leave DJ and Send(when he comes back) to fight for CB??? or will it be an awesome team of Toure-Gallas????

I dont think he will be THAT frustrated. At chlesea he loved scoring goals. Maybe he was upset about the way they played??? just a thought.

I dont like the idea of Reyes and the Beast swapping on loans, what if one of them does sh*t and the other does well, Arsenal or Real wont want him and then will have to pay big bucks to get him. We would have this transfer saga all over again

Chelsea and Arsenal are leaving it very late to do the Cole/Gallas swap deal. Which in my opinion will be crucial to Arsenal doing well this season, they are allegedely having medicals right now, but theres 18 minutes left in the transfer window, so they better hurry.

No confirmation yet of Cole/Gallas deal, they might have left it too late. Would be a great deal for Arsenal if its gone through.

It wasn't sorted a month ago because both clubs were stubborn enough to try wait out for the best deal. Supposedely the deal has gone through, swap deal, Ashley cole gone one way, Gallas gone the other.

Gilberto will play, Theo wont start and i dont think Baptista will start for a while either. Rosicky will play on the left of midfield.

I dont think anyone has much idea what Wenger will do with the beast, After Vieira left last season, he went after him so you might see him in midfield rather than upfront
