William Gallas, the Gunners' French defender, wanted to deny the allegations in "France Football".
The disagreement with his club and French team-mate, Abou Diaby, and the rumours about a transfer to Real Madrid are completely untrue. William is calmly preparing for his last match of the season at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday against his former club Chelsea.
France Football reported a disagreement with Abou Diaby. What do you have to say about this?
William Gallas: I'd like to know where this story came from, who invented it. I've never had any problems or arguments with Abou. Nothing happened at all. I don't understand why such rumours were made up.
"France Football" also reported a possible transfer to Real Madrid. Have you had any contact with the Spaniards?
William Gallas: With Real Madrid? It's a complete invention. Lots of rumours run around at the end of seasons but until the player says something there's nothing definite. I haven't had any contact with them at all. I don't know why people are saying such things. It's utter rubbish.
And Arsenal secured a place in the Champions League next year after a season marked by many injuries.
William Gallas: It hasn't been an easy year. We had a lot of injuries in the team and didn't win anything. So it's a relief to qualify for the Champions League. We achieved our objective. Now we've got two more matches to play and we must remain professional until the end.
You'll play Chelsea on Saturday in the Premiership, it'll be more important for the Blues (2nd, five points behind Manchester United and still in the race for the title with three matches to go) than for you.
William Gallas: It's always an important game for Arsenal, a London derby. I'm not sure the match will be more important for them than for us. It'll be our last match of the season at home and we want to give something special to our fans.
From a personal viewpoint, you'll be marking your ex team-mate Didier Drogba? How have you prepared for this game? Have you called him?
William Gallas: No, I haven't been in touch with him or any other of my former team-mates. We prepare like we always do. Each weekend we have to focus on playing top quality teams. Even though I'll be marking Didier (Drogba), I know him very well and I'll prepare as usual, seriously.

They did a quadruple this year winning the League, league cup, london cup, and uefa cup. They have really represented us well.

Oh how I wish our lads were as good as this. But we actually have something to celebrate. I watched the Fa cup final against Charlton and they really are amazing to watch especially Yankey.
