Canna**** out, Krasic almost in. Kjaer, Criscito, Palombo, Pazzo, and Pepe in? That's not too bad as I don't expect us to compete next year. Pepe is like the Molinaro of right wingers, and look how bad we did without Molinaro; 7th place. We came in 3rd and 2nd the two previous seasons with Molinaro as starter and we clearly missed him.:innocent_smile_1: Joking aside, I don't know what they're thinking pursuing Pepe. Although it probably means that Del Neri is almost certainly heading into the new season intent on playing a 4-4-2, so no room for Diego, I suppose.

I think Juve must pay Udinese 2,6 mil for the loan this season. His wages will probably be much lower.

I initially thought this but I thought I had misread the article. Honestly, any dollar amount is too much for Pepe, anyway.

To be fair to Krasic, his team stank in their opener against Ghana.

Pepe was a great today. Let's hope he shows that energy for Juve. We could use a fighter like that.

Shando, hopefully fight for a CL spot? C'mon, some optimism! Roma finished 6th in 08-09 and challenged for the scudetto last season with pretty much the same team. Things can turn around quickly.

Criscito also did very well on the flank and we should bring his ass back to Juve.

Do Manchester City still want Buffon? This back injury is ravaging his career and I think it would be wise to sell Gigi while we can still get a decent sum for him. What do you guys think? Do you think Buffon will make a full recovery or lose a bit of his edge?

As a fan I'd also want him to stay. Gigi and Del Piero are the only players left I idolized as a young Juventino fanboy, and I'd also want to see him win important trophies with Juve again. Let's wait and see how Gigi and Juve will get through the coming season; Juve wouldn't be able to sell him if he needed surgery after the World Cup anyway.

Are we certain that the goons at Manchester City even know he's injured? We can send them old tapes of Buffon before the injury and they might not even be able to tell the difference. And yes, I want Gigi to stay too, but a good team knows when to sell players and this might be the time, or even too late in his case. If this back injury keeps flaring up, we might have missed a good opportunity to cash in and improve other areas of the squad. Just food for thought, I don't think we'll actually sell him.

Buffon probably would've left in 2006 without the scandal, and Moggi sold big players before for a lot of money and reinvested it wisely. However, I have difficulties trusting our current transfer policy. It's decided by little coaches rather than a clear club policy. Ranieri favored Poulsen to Xabi Alonso and didn't want Diego, Juve listened. Ranieri left, Diego came for A LOT of money, but new coach Ferrara failed. Then Del Neri, who'll probably leave in a couple of years, makes Diego's investment a total waste because he sticks to a 4-4-2 formation. Now a sh*tload of cash has to be invested on a bunch of wingers. Who knows when they'll be obsolete when another coach arrives? It's all so impulsive.

Edit - Krasic is having a sweet match against Germany. Let's wing it! (H)
