While on my travels around town today I happened to come across an X Box in my local GameStation. After reading much positive hype about the game I decided to give it a play. I wasn't too pleased. These are my opinions. Firstly I'm going to p*ss on the bonfire of those who longed for true authenticity. To get the best test of this me and my mate decided to play as our fair cities rival teams, Stoke City (Division 1) and Port Vale (Division 2). Straight away I noticed that Port Vale were wearing last seasons shirt with old sponsor and badges. Players are absolutley nothing like there real life counter parts, though atleast they got the skin colours right, nearly. To my amazement Port Vale had better stats than Stoke. Very angry was I! To make things even worse the players look like they're made out of plastic thanks to the new light sourcing.

with the alternative game being Rivasko, Fida etc

NickSCFC... i agree with Matt that you have to play the game more. You can't tell from playing it in a shop. There are 2 passing buttons. One goes staight to the players feet and another passes into space. Have you played the demo on computer yet?

"You only played it at a game shop... I would gather for less than an hour. Not saying you have to like the game, but considering you didn't even know there was a through pass button to play the ball into space, it sounds as though you haven't really gotten into the game yet."

Hear we go with the EA salesman talk agian. Your so full of siht, every thing you say makes me want to :-puke:.

I agree the guy probably needs to play the game more especially if he doesn't know about the through pass but Matts comments always get me fired up. They always sound fake and practiced.

I'm sure Matt will defend EA cause he does work for EA. Can't blame him. However, I do agree that you have to play the game more to really find out its features and if they're good.

When I started playing Fifa04 demo, I was like.... isn't it the same as Fifa 03...? Then I got some demo expander and began to play more and found improvements. The game is more complete now. I'm still not satisfied with the AI, but I'm sure online gaming will be nice.
