baby steps my friend...we have to learn how to walk before we can run with the big boys :)

Still I think Palermo will be up there, they reinforced their team big time :

-----------------------Fontana/Agliardi-------------------

Zaccardo----Dellafiore/Conteh---Barzagli---Pisano--

Bresciano-------Diana-----------Corini----Fabio Simplicio

-------Di Michele----------------Caracciolo-------------

This is a great line-up, and I think they could challenge for CL, guaranteed UEFA qualification imho, of course football is not an exact science, but they have what it takes this year.

Yeah... I'm afraid that, how to say it in english, ci daranno del filo da torciere.... It will be a bit difficult for inter to win this season!

The case presented for Moggi and Giraudo has been rejected by the TAR of Lazio. The same threat is posing for the Juventus case. Juventus are however risking an extra set of penalisation points due to breaking a number of "Sport Rules".

Thabks for posting this useful information... It looks like Internazionale have got a pretty difficult start, while on the other hand, it looks rather balnced for the other "big" teams.

Yeah one of the other big teams starts at -8 and another one at -19, pretty balanced. I almost peed in my pants laughing when I heard the Ronaldo - Adriano swap is going on in the last hours of the mercato. Exchanging a bidone for an obese, WTG Inter, I bet there will be even more fights in the dressing room now huhuhuhu

Maybe. Hower, though I dont want oto re-raise the subjects, ALL penalised teams have fully deserved their punishment. It may hurt some of the team's fans, clearly it is not their fault. But, alas, great damage has been done to Italian footbal, and someone must pay.

The Adriano-Ronaldo swap is a farse. First of all, if it is to occour, it will be on loan (can it occour anymore, or transfer window has closed?), second, it is virtually impossible to remove adriano from Inter, no sensible guy wold allow it.

:kader: hi , i have a question for you all , why did nt ac milan buy a major striker , i mean they dont have shevchenko , they r still in champions league despite what happened to juve and co. , so why didnt they buy a big striker ? i think maybe they should have bought trezeguet or some other big player , what do u all have to say to that? they've bought Ricardo Oliveira.

Milan to win it, Inter will choke on the last matchday and come in 3rd place like they always do. Atalanta will be the surprise team and have a great season until they get relegated in the 07/08 season. Positions 7-12 were the hardest to decide, you can put those teams in any order. The Serie A will be crap without Juve though, but seeing Inter throw away the scudetto is going to be plenty of fun. Torino will come dead last with 0 points, and those bastards deserve it that way.

You really think Fiorentina is gonna make up a 19 point deficit that easy and finish 4th?

Rocky

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
That was before I even knew how many points were deducted, they'll finish in the lower half of the table, not close to relegation tho. I'd give that fourth placed spot to Lazio or Chievo, I've had second thoughts about Livorno mounting a challenge for the Uefa spots.

Acrually, they did try, but clever Moratti managed to outwit dumb Galliani and secure Ibrahimovic and prevent AC MIlan from getting their hands on Ronaldo.

They did get this 26-year old guy called Ruben Oliveira... He was quite impressive before his injury... However, in the friendly he played, he didn't look convincing.

how the hell did Moratti outwit Galliani in terms of Ronaldo..?

Real wanted to have Kaka in the deal. Thats all I have to say really.

Regarding Zlatan, I think yes, Milan lost to Moratti. But IMO, was a super stupid decision on Zlatan's part picking Inter over Milan.

:::: This is my theory ::::

Well, considering the Ronaldo-Adriano swap never happened, its basically assumed it was Moratti who pulled out. Ronaldo was Moratti's biggest ever signing, and the idea of him joining Milan killed him.....

So, knowing how stupid Real are (dumb enough to think Milan would include Kaka in a deal for a washed up, out of shape, and injury prone forward),,, Moratti decided to make a similarly stupid offer to tempt Real. Considering Milan obviously wasnt going to offer Kaka, and fearing Real would give in for a straight cash deal, Moratti stepped in and offered a 24 year old, who although coming off a bad season, was still one of the best strikers in the world for said washed up, out of shape, and injury prone forward. This blew Milan outta the water, and they switched gears towards Oliveira, and than Inter eventually pulled out. Notice how the rumours of the Adriano-Ronaldo swap didnt start to circulate until a day or two before deadline,,,, so Milan would have no time to get back in race.

The moral of the story, Moratti outwitted the greedy (and foolish) Madrid president and didnt have to see Ronaldo playing for his teams biggest rivals......

If Moratti really did wanna make that deal (which i doubt he did), hes a moron.

That's Ricardo Oliveira, and I think he'll be a useful addition to Milan. Plus I think Milan no worse off without Ronaldo. Goals won't be too much of a problem, it'll just depend who they come from.
