Didnt Mihailovic hang them up already?

and if Grosso is in, where does that leave Burdisso? Is he just a backup now or is he gone too?

mihailovic is now an assistant coach.

Zlatan-Adriano on paper is one of the super-est attacking duos to ever be assembled.

However, on current form, you really are gonna struggle for goals.

and why the hell Maniche..? sure he's great. but I dont think you guys need him.

For some reason Mancini doesn't trust Pizarro. He wants Maniche to be Veron's replacement.

As for Burdisso, he always was a backup. However he can play either of LB, CB, or RB, so he will probably stay.

Burdisso mainly a RB, and I think Grosso is a left-sided player so it'll work out.

Burdisso surpassed my expectations at the WC

Absolutely, man. And he's still fairly young by today's standards of a defender.

He's easily the greatest right back I've ever seen in my short time of watching soccer intently. What a ******* treat it is to be watchin' 'em week in and week out.

Truly, Javier Zanetti is one inspirational Inter player since 1995. He's definitely one of my best favorite Inter players of all time.

Forza Janetti !

Javier is true class no doubt,

Regarding the team, it seems our striker woes will resolve themselves, Moratti looks dead set on bringing in a goal scorer. That leaves our filling the playmaker role that Veron played now that he's moved on. Honestly, I don't think a Cambiasso--Dacourt Central Midfield could be successful due to a lack of creativity. There's some big names on the market, but I'm doubtful of them coming this way. I'd love to have Pirlo (especially after his great World Cup) but he looks to be aiming his sights abroad. Riquelme's another guy who could do the job, but I don't think he wants to come to Italy. Obviously, there's Pizarro, but Mancini doesn't ever seem to give him a chance. What do you guys think?

if all fails, hopefully pizarro can have a tremendous year. personally i'd rather find a CM rather than a F but likelihood is of a F coming to town. I don't want imbrahimovic, very selfish and not a team player. trez wouldn't be a bad idea, but luca is who i want the most. pirlo/riquelme would be awesome either way, but as you already stated not likely. so many rumours and possibilities makes it so difficult to make predictions. vieira would also be a fantastic pickup, but if anything, we could utilize our new strong outside back in grosso. allow him to frequently attack up the sides and place it into the box for adriano/any other attacker. either way, forza inter and lets try to win something big this year for moratti.

Wether you want him or not...I think we are going to get Zlatan

http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/jul18d.html

I don't really want Vieira. Juve will want too much for him and he is past his prime, he's not going to play like he did in the WC. And we have Cambiasso and Dacourt already. We need someone more creative, and I don't think Pizarro is the answer. Too bad I think we will not be able to get Riquelme. He seems happy at Villareal.

On Zlatan...I disagree with the above. I don't think he is selfish. He has shown some amazing stuff...just not last season. Plus he is younger and more versitile than Toni or Trez. I would be willing to take the gamble on him.

I also think we need a right winger...we were too dependent on Figo last season. Or maybe Stankovic could move over and Scolari could play on the left...But I would rather have someone better than Scolari.

I think Adriano is way more selfish then Zlatan, it would be definitly interesting seeing them two up front, I wouldn't mind getting him because he has such talent.

For midfield I think Maniche is great if we do get him, I'm not sure about his consistency, can anyone confirm?

ehhh, zlatan worries me... i recall (not details) many times my father bringing home the newspaper showing stories of his selfishness and i don't mean hogging the ball... i mean not being a team player and just worrying about himself. i personally rather see martins play than zlatan...

Maniche is a very good player, but not the right fit for this team in my opinion, Moratti looks like he wants him though...who knows.

By the way, is Cesar still part of the team or is he going back to Lazio now that the loan is over? I wouldn't mind if I never saw him in black and blue again honestly.
