Hodgson quits England
Roy Hodgson stepped down as England manager immediately after their shock defeat to Iceland at Euro 2016 on Monday night.

He retires, just like Messi.

I hate this. He didn't 'resign with dignity'. His contract was over anyway. His tenure as England manager was crowned with the ultimate failure and disgrace, after four years and three tournaments of failure and disgrace. There is no dignity, no 'voluntary' aspect of this as is implied by the word 'resignation' - he has been thrown out in the mud like he should have been 2 years ago, no, 4 years ago - he should be careful about showing his face in public for a long time to come.

How can someone, in charge for a full two years when he masterminded England's first failure to get out of World Cup group stage since 1958, have even been allowed to continue on to manage at this tournament. Did we collectively go 'that was pretty disgraceful Roy, but we think you can go one better....'

Feel sorry for England, they did so well to get through the group stages, unlucky to face Iceland so early. They went out fighting, though, should get a proper welcome back home.

where the fuck are you gonna live?

or let me rephrase the question, will it be easy to leave England?

I'm moving to Holland. Hopefully this process will drag out long enough that I will be able to stay until I am eligible for Dutch residency.

And the first names I see as candidates for the England job? Gary Neville, Alan Shearer and Gareth Southgate.

Hearing the pundits debate between 'Gary' and 'Gareth' makes me want to kill somebody.

The man I want is Brendan Rodgers. I know he's not English but Northern Irish is close enough and he actually has an ounce of tactical nous.

I'm watching Shit Roy's press conference. I can't understand why journalists are being nice to them. I don't know why he isn't having shows hurled at him.
