The Greatest Cheat Team

Kibe Kru

Starting XI
A real cheat player would be To Madeira in CM01/02... also the good old Andri Sigtorsson for Cm97/98...

Stopped looking for bargains in FM05... never really played long enough to bother..

for keeper you guys should try Francisco Guillermo Ochoa, when i played the world cup he was the best keeper in the world cup...they only scored 2 goals on him :rockman:

Well, if we're going to get all nostalgic then I may as well bring up the greatest AMC in the history of the game. All hail King Nikiforenko!

I'd love to see a couple of mega-players back for FM2006. No one that I have found has come close to Niki or Maxim since CM 01/02. I know that they weren't realistic (Maxim for example scoring 80 in a season) but damn it was fun having them in your team.

Make America Great Again
Sergei Nikiforenko, good one.

These weren't cheat players per se, but how about the really really young guys who guaranteed became world beaters. In 99/00 there was Tonton Zola Moukoko, and I don't remember what edition he debuted, but Cherno Samba was 15 the first time he was in the game. Also a 16 year old Javier Saviola in CM3, but once again, if they turn out to be good in real life we think CM did a good job scouting.

The only ones I ever bought were Kennedy Bakircioglu and Andri Sigtorsson (who had probably the worst stats I've ever seen, but for some reason he was AMAZING, even in the best leagues). I hated people who bought To Madiera and Maxim Tsigalko.

I remember Kennedy Bakircioglu from back in the day, it didnt get any better than him although the other guy i have never heard of.

Ochoa
Krasa
Tim Wiese
Bierfoka
Wayne Bridge

They all became phenomenal for me. By phenomenal I mean 8-9 average ratings with impressive stats.

D'Alessandro became world player of the year for me. Shaun Wright Phillips won a lot of English awards too. Suprisingly Wayne Bridge and Greening became important first team players as well.

and I started it all with West Brom. Best FM experience ever.

One more thing. May I suggest one player : Jeremies from Bayern Munich. At the beginning of the game Bayern are willing to sell him cheap, but you'll have to approach him. I believe you can definitely get him under 2 mil pounds. sometimes just a mere 750k would do.

What you get is a superb player with loads of stamina and defensive capabilities. Great dmc, good as a backup if you already have a better one, makeshift right back. Captain material, loads of determination. He is often the first player that I get.

my bad, couldn't resist. as for the bridge thing, I didn't expect him to be that good at 30. Always reckoned him as an average player at Chelski.

God I'd forgotten about a couple of those already. Tonton was great on the pitch but a whining git off it in just about every game I had him in. A couple more from the older series:

Isaac Okoronkwo
Justin Georcellin (spelling?)
Joao Paiva
Chiotis (super keeper)

As I said, I'd really like to see a Maxim equivalent back in the game. It would be fun trying to find out who the 'superplayer' was and those who did not wish to use him would not have to. In CM01/02 in games where I didn't buy Maxm he would usually just end up at some German club, so it didn't throw the games' balance out or anything. I don't think an inclusion of that sort in FM2006 would ruin anything but would simply add another aspect.
