the game crashes while in manager mode

my fifa 08 crashes when i'm in manager mode. after every game, and it doesn't matter if quick simmed or played, fifa crashes after the "newspaper message". also, it crashes sometimes while saving a replay but it's a less annoying problem. IF SOMEONE KNOWS HOW CAN I FIX THAT - PLEASE tell it to me.

Outch! have you tried re-installing?

If so, it might be a problem with your DVD.

i have the same problem. also in fifa 07 but other games and programms run normaly so i think it`s not a hardware conflict. i tried to instal the newest patch but no result. my config: athlon 64 3200 (s939), gigabyte k8n-sli, GF7900GS MSI, 2 GB kingnston dual channel, 2 x 160 JJ Samsung sata raid, DVD recorder benq 1650. soundblaste x-fi extreme music sound card, leadtek 2000 xp tv tuner

Hi, Those are pretty good specs for this game. Have you tried updating your nvidia graphics driver? Also, did you add any kits or other graphics? You may need to run a fatbhbuilder program.

One last thing, you can run a FIFA08 repair from the FIFA08 DVD. You can select the option "uninstall" and then select "Repair".

Uninstall but FFDShow codec. Propably this is a real cause of crashes. i had the similar problems in elder`s scrolls oblivion.

Hi - I noticed you have a crash at exactly the same point as me. When you click 'advance' after you have played/simmed a game? I got around this by getting rid of any training that was scheduled for after the game but before the next game.

Do you have any training scheduled for after the game?
