Have any of you played above people? I bet not. If yes then maybe once. These are the typical inactives who I hate. They post here even though they'll never play you. Why? Then these people add you to their MSN, still not playing. After that, they use their MSN address book to send invites to bull**** sites like myspace or xanga type of ****. They become waste of my MSN contact list. Don't post here if you are not going to play!

hey guyz i am having trouble connecting through ip. can someone plz help. i had my friend ip and i added him. then i told him to click host and i clicked on his ip address and then clicked connect and it said connection attemp falied and i hosted and told him to click connect still same result can someone plz help me with how to player other players through ip. i will appreciate it. thanx in advance

Yeah i hate it when that happens, happened to me with 06, happens also in 07.
What i normally do is the following:

• Close FIFA
• Quit any unnecessary background processes/apps
• (If you have a dynamic IP address)Get a new IP address, which can be done various ways, one way is to turn off your modem for some minutes, and turn it back on
• Re-enter fifa and hope it works :boohoo:

oh btw, are both of you clicking the line with your name/ IP address details on the right hand side before you press host/connect? the name/address should be the details belonging to the host computer. both of you have to click this, regardless of whether you are hosting or connecting

ie7 should not be the case. i use ie7 too and can still connect ip to ip. whenever i have a problem on "connection attempt failed" i make sure my firewall is disabled. the same goes for the person who is playin with you too. other than that, im not too sure, just a wild guess, different patched versions maybe. mayb u have a patch n your fren dont, or vice versa.
