Does anyone know if permissions are required for using the updated databases that regularcat posts? I actually don't know how those are put together or who I might need to ask. Does regularcat put those together? If not, who?

Can I use this for EEP? (J-League) or do I have to ask someone? Who should in credits??

I don't know what the eep is, but everything I do is available for anyone to use, edit, rerelease or whatever without asking permission. We need to work together more rather than seeking some weird online personal glory. That is ultimately what this project is about.

This is a fantastic way for patch makers to develop a league based on your work.

You provide rosters, clubs and league structure and they enhance it by tweaking overall appearances, adding kits, minifaces, logos, maybe cups etc. Everything that makes a league viable to play in CM.

The time is cut in half.

Hopefully, out will spring new teams of FIFA artists ready to make more leagues so we can get a kind of Football Manager 2015 experience.

That's absolutely my hope. Ya'll gotta get to work. Get 'dem kits made.

If anyone wants to help with some of the database work, I can happily and easily teach you.

This could be good but the game does have a limit I have 20 leagues
imported and cannot import any more data into my database.

So keep that in mind when you choose your CMPs to import.

That's interesting. What do you think the limitation is? As in, which table might be maxing out. How did you handle formations?

Do I have permission to use the updated databases if I release a combined patch?

I 've 1 questions and 2 request...

Question 1:
in the list... what is "dob"?

What do you need in this tabels? Which values are possible??

my requests:
- whats about a column "potential"?

- is there a way to give them random look(hair, haircolor and so one)..for example a column "origin" and possible values like "asia", "latin", "africa" and so one, and if its for example asia, you give them black/brown/red hair, brown eyes and so one, a random hairstyle and its done ;)

To your last question, that's exactly what roster maker 15 does by default.

To your first, doB is date of birth.

As for potential, that's generated randomly by RM 15. You can change those by hand after it is imported.

nice!

to the last one.. mh and its not possible to do this:
- create a new column on your sheet
- create a function that the potential get generated randomly, if the column is null / not filled otherwise (if there is a value) the RM15 takes this one?

Would be much better then edit every player after CM 15import (for me/my opinion..)

I will consider that in the next edition of roster maker 15. I have been wanting to tweak how it calculates potential anyway. For now, you can edit it by hand when you get it in the game.

Remember that the biggest point in all of this is to save you time. You probably won't edit the potential of every player. I would guess you'll edit the potential of about half of them at most. If all other attributes are completed, you could do all of this very very quickly.

I simply added them to the formations table and once that is maxed you can use the teamformationstylelinks table.

No idea what is maxing out, I could easily find out but didn't care to bother to find out.

What I have is enough even though I'd trade all my UEFA leagues for all
the CONMEBOL and CONCACAF leagues since euro footy bores me seeing
it's always the top 10 clubs who always win everything were the leagues I prefer could have a new winner every year, more exciting to me.

On this, we are cut from the same cloth! Although I started following Swansea last season and am a dedicated fan now. Such a fascinating club.

The big Euro clubs are already represented in the game, so that's a non-issue. Therefore not liking "euro footy" has nothing to do with the question of whether to add Scottish versus African lower tier teams. Me, I don't care one way or the other, I'm just pointing out the difference between personal bias versus logic when making these decisions. I suggested adding the Scottish leagues because the kits are already all done, therefore there's a much better chance those leagues will actually get finished, more than the African leagues anyway. Logical and practical.
