Go find it. I don't think I said that. I might have said that they're shit in general, which they still are but I thought they've done well bar defense.

Too much is being made of this result and it is rather unfair. United are having a down season and are not serious European contenders for next season.

Having said that, Liverpool 2013-2014 has revealed how a team not named ManUnited, Chelsea, ManCity or Arsenal can compete for the title - avoid playing in ALL other competitions. United will find that to their advantage next year after _____ _______ has rebuilt the squad during the summer.

As much as I hate to agree with that, I must. If we had the Big4's European schedule, we would be lingering down in 7th place right now.

One thing I must correct you on though is your laughing stock comment. We were not a laughing stock. We were consistent competitors for a European spot. Also, I guess you forgot 4-1 in 2009 when we narrowly missed out on the EPL title.

Good sir, please tell me how you think that Liverpool have been a laughing stock. I would like a full break down of numbers listing points achieved and final placing in the EPL standings. I can ASSURE you that atleast 10 clubs OUTside the Big 4 would take that any day of the week. I await your response.....if you prove to be correct, I am more than happy to admit my mistake, with a suitable response, to this post, in this thread.

That isn't the first time a referee has sent off the wrong black guy for Arsenal, it's not even the first time against Chelsea! In the 2007 League Cup final the ref sent off Adebayor for punching Wayne Bridge, the only problem is that Bridge got punched by Eboue.

Re: the result. Ouch. I can't even say anything in defense of that. The concern for us is the Cup. We have to win the Cup.
