Team Captain
Capello leaves door open for Terry return.

Fabio Capello has not entirely ruled out the possibility of John Terry leading out the England team at the World Cup finals, an insider has informed Soccernet.

Soccernet's insider said: "John Terry can hope to get the armband back, and that hope should be an additional inspiration for him. Of course it would be difficult and might not happen, but in football everything is possible.

"The most important issue for Fabio Capello is that John Terry arrives at the finals as the best player he can possibly be."

Saw that on Soccernet.

I doubt its true though.

I think Baines, Warnock or even Milner are better options.

btw, I think he declared his retirement from England NT.

Haha! The only decent guy in English footie is Bullard, give him the armband.

He's always injured.

Enter Crouchy. This time I'm serious.

People moaned on about how Terry isn't a good example to young men off the pitch, and he isn't. He's a bastard. It was pretty well known Rio isn't exactly a saint either, and Rooney's exploits are well documented. Gerrard? Yea. Lampard has had his moments as well.

Crouch on the other hand? Well behaved off the pitch, respected by every manager he's ever played for on a personal and professional level, rather modest in comparison to other footballers. Doesn't act better than anyone else, despite the fact that he's obviously one of the more intelligent footballers in England by quite some way.

I think a lot of the disdain for Peter comes from the fact that he looks a bit different, because he seems rather hard to hate personally.

I admire him, I admire him a lot. He doesn't walk around with this sense of entitlement about him, he realizes how lucky he is to be in the Premiership and goes out every match and works hard to prove why he belongs there.

He and Defoe are also proving quiet a potent partnership in front of goal.

I don't think that Cappelo will use Crouch is his starting 11.

Soon, virginity will be a “MUST” factor for England captains.

If that is the case the lone potential candidate will be Lee Stewart. He already has an armbrand and chances of him losing his virginity are pretty remote.

Really who gives a crap. As if there personal life has anything to do with there ability on the pitch as captain. Although it was a bit different in the Bridge, terry front especially with the recent bridge announcement. That must be worse then first thought.

He didn't lose his captaincy for his personal life, he lost it for pulling such a dick move on a teammate.
