Great program. Love it. But how do you add the goalkeeper kit? Tells me it can't find the file in zdata. I had a kit anyway but it doesn't show up in game.

I've got a problem. I've imported a team from FIFA 07 via load a patch. Edited everything, imported kits and everything, but when i play, the kits don't show (no texture) - only the kits, other stuff works. It seems that CM doesn't remember when i tick off the kits (home, away, gk), cause when i open the database again, it's like i never ticked them off, but the files are there.
Any advice?

Yeah I have the same problem. I put a checkmark to a GK kit, insert the kit, but then it won't show up ingame...

Geez, it's already been a few hours and this thread is already nearing page 4...Rinaldo has his work cut out when he'll have to answer questions!

Mate, after making the changes did you go to FILE>SAVE?

You must save first, then play! ;)

the same bug to me. but I added lines with unidb and greeksuperleague cmp 07 is perfectly transfered to my game!!!!!! edit with database editors if u hurry up....

Rinaldo, I found an impotant bug in CM 08, when i try to import face textures for players ...the cm08 import FSH-textures but not BMP-textures ! Please try to correct it for the final release.

Here we go again - same old same old. If you make changes to players, teams etc. using an external tool you need to either delete 'D. My Squads' or reset the squads to default (not updated, that tries to use PC_CL.BIN rather than FIFA.DB) from within the game.

2 problems:

1.- when import a cmp07 team patch don't show the kits in game, all stuff its alright like stadium, flags, players names, faces but no the kits, appear a missing texture message

2.- i can't create patches, appear a message with a problem in zdata archives

p.s : i have a fresh instalation of fifa

Is there anyone who can try importing adboards into a team (I use dutch eredivisie). Cause at my place when i save it they are shown as flags(when i look at flag section the adboards are there shown as flag). Has everyone that problem or just me?

Answer to some selected questions.

Bugs reported and verified:
1) Adboards are imported as flags.
2) Tactical awareness is not available in the player skills
3) Cannot access the world league.
4) Missed stadium name

Information about how CM08 works:
I) Players are not automatically created when creating a team, this is a design choice.
II) When mporting patches from 07 the kits are not imported because they are in a format incompatible with FIFA 08.
III) Before to import the texture of a face you MUST add a head model for that player, otherwise CM08 supposes that you are trying to modify the generic textures.


I need more details about the following points:
A) Problems during patch creation

If you don't find here an answer to your question please post it again adding more details.
