The Best Moment To Use Subs?

Depends on the game. Sometimes I do it 20minutes in because the player is is a MR playing at AMC and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. I also change my teams shape after I am 2 up and that normally brings of a more defensive player.

i usually do one at half time if the match isn't going too well, or if a player has less than a 6 rating, then one at 60 mins, as my wingers are generally getting a bit tired by then, and then the remaining one(s) at 70-75 mins. Rooney is superb if i bring him on late, he got a hat trick in the last 10 minutes of my CL semi final against Juve after coming on after 76 mins. If i have any subs left late on i'll usually bring them all on with a few minutes left just to give them a chance of getting a championship winners medal ;)

Its great when you have young players, and you can just introduce them for the last 20 minutes of games to get them some experience (H)

Well...

I check at half time to see if any players have a 5 or lower rating or REALLY tired

if not then I check again till the 60th, 70th, 80th

if I'm losing I sub my low rated players, if I'm winning I sub the tired players

and I always make 3 subs a game, i feel its a waste not to.

usually around 70' and I substitute the most tired players.

I always do the 3 subs. If I can give time to any young player, I do it.

i see some of you do substitute players on the injury time. does the clock keep on running while the substitution is done?

It is also good to sub players off who are injured ;)

Nah, I don't buy into that pussy mentality. I'm like : "Get the f*ck back up Cisse and stop bitching about your leg or I'm gonna fine you two weeks wages. "

A couple of my players have died, but otherwise it's working out well. :)

I do tend to ignopre the light injuries On a cm03/04 match I had a player playing 70 minutes (after 20 he got the ''light'' injury) with a broken toe(H)

i do a sub at 60 - 70 mins. Or depends on the players condition. When he is under 60 i will sub him even if he has 10 rating. But i will try to win as much time as possible before sub him. In a 1 goal lead i usually play on 4-5-1 trying to make my mid stronger when they are pressing me so i will be able to hit on counter. In that case i will do 2 subs or 1 and will save a sub for a quick attacker on 85 or 80 to keep as many computer players as possible.

One thing which I have found, and which has been a constant (at least for me) going right back to 00/01 is that making substitutions in sets of two is far more effective, especially for turning games around when behind.
