Dennis Bergkamp played in a testimonialgame for Jaap Stam yesterday and his moves were still breathtaking, when you see him play like this you really miss his presence on the pitch
They played against Ajax (3-3) and the starteam was coached by Hiddink and Ancelotti.
Players in the team for Stam: Marc Overmars, Frank de Boer, Patrick Kluivert, Edgar Davids, Wim Jonk, Philip Cocu, Reiziger, Clarence Seedorf, Kaladze, Favalli, Brochhi Jaap himself of course and others

This season Dennis will be coaching Ajax in the technical staff of Marco van Basten as an intern.

good to hear that he's giving coaching a chance. Hopefully we'll give 'em a holler for an assistant coach's position in about a couple years or so, man.

Lewin given rousing send-off by Arsenal squad

This is Gary Lewin's 23rd - and final - pre-season as Arsenal's first-team physio.

The long-serving therapist has enjoyed a 28-year association with the Club but is leaving Arsenal to take up a new post as Head of Physiotherapy to the England national team.

Lewin begins his new role with the Football Association on August 1 and was given a rousing send-off at Arsenal's pre-season training camp in Austria this week.

As our picture shows, the 44-year-old was presented with a cake to commemorate 1,205 games as first-team physio at Highbury and Emirates Stadium.

Everyone at Arsenal thanks Gary for his huge contribution to the Club and wishes him the best of luck in his new role with England.

If we need a little more money, sell Sendoros and use that. I think he's been linked with Newcastle and I think we could get a solid 6mill out of them.
I'm not a fan of the Gallas Toure partnership, so if we could bring someone else in I could really see us winning the Premiership.
