Adriano Galliani has confirmed that Milan and Real Madrid are unlikely to agree on Ronaldo’s transfer, despite the deal seemingly being finished on Wednesday.

“Short meetings are never positive,” said the Rossoneri Vice-President. “There is a major gap between the request for the player and what we can offer.”

Real Madrid value Ronaldo at £18m and wanted midfielder Kaka to be included in the deal, but the Via Turati club was not willing to offer more than £10m, with no player in exchange.

Spanish newspapers AS and Marca both stated on Thursday that Kaka was the main obstacle to a positive outcome of the negotiations between the two clubs.

The Diavoli are now forced to change their plans and may formalise their offer for Udinese’s Vincenzo Iaquinta, rumoured to be worth £7m plus striker Marco Borriello.

David Trezeguet and Adriano are also on Milan’s shortlist, but Juventus don’t intend to let the Frenchman leave and Inter are not keen on selling to their direct competitors.

Milan’s summer market has not yet scored a top level signing, after losing Hernan Crespo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to rivals Nerazzurri.

are AS quoting Gazzetta or running a crazy rumour of their own?

I dont think Robinho will be that bad in Serie A. He'll struggle initially but I think he can adapt.

We're linked with Ricardo Oliviera now anyway..

Yea but I got a feeling that if they don't give up Kaka, they won't get their guy. For once though I have to agree with Stephan, Ronaldo is a "Big boy" that has aged. He's still talented, but I wouldn't want him. Milan may be able to get Ronnie without giving up Kaka, but tons of money would be involved. Kaka is without a doubt a keeper and to give him up for an older, fatter player isn't wise. Even if Madrid can't use him this season in the CL (Cup tied) he still be around next season, lol and so on and so forth.

Serie A needs strong physical players, like Adriano, Toni, Ibrahimovic, and ex. Sheva. Robinhio, yes, does have speed and talent, but mate, he has the pysique of a boy. Either he gets built up, or he must forget Serie A...

I think these are our transfers in the next days :

Out : Foggia (one year loan to Lazio for Oddo deal)
Kaladze ( maybe, I hope not but if he goes : to Chelsea or Arsenal, part of the Cole/Gallas/kaladze triangle)
Borriello (part of the Iaquinta deal)

In : Oddo, Gallas, Oliveira, Iaquinta (maybe, I wouldn't want him but hey I don't run the transfers) and on august 31th at 11pm our big surprise signing.

How can he say that when he's been suspended for 9 months? He was at the Real Madrid vs Anderlecht game(I saw him with Real's Prez) and right before the game he talked about the Ronaldo negociations and after the game about Real wanting too much money. :|

Just a simple question, just want to be informed.

Ricardo Oliveira is better than Tevez. A lot better.

Starting XI
Oliveira is more of a pure striker than Tevez.....plus waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper.

He needs confidence, but I think he could do ok in Milan. He can put it in the net.
