Penalties are a horrible way to decide a game...Milan fans.... your team deserved a different solution to the game.
one thing is for sure, fans of other clubs ... for example bayern fans ... wish Bayern Munich had as many European cups as Real Madrid!

On a more serious note.....nobody deserved to lose like that, really....I gotta extend some condolences to the Sheva fans but like dannyeli said, there's always next year and hey, no one can beat your appearances record in the final in the last decade or so

I won't complain about Sheva's disallowed "offside" goal, I won'tcomplain about our poor marking, I wont complain about Liverpool's second goal being offside, I won't complain about the fact that we dominated 90% of the game, had far more chances etc.and i also won't complain about the fact that Dudek jumped at least a meter off his line during the penalties.
That would be immature, and, I do not wish to stoop that low. Unfortunately, some of you feel the need to -- Liverpool won, isn't that enough? We'llsee you again next year. As for "luck", it ain't luck, it's called "Kaka magic".

and Callum: about the 2nd goal, the linesman lifted his flag a good 30 seconds before Smicer's goal, but the ref ignored it for some reason, Pool were allowed to play on, and boom

Bad luck AC Milan. It was a terrific contest and unfortunately, there had to be one loser out of it but it was a great game to watch.

I'm sorry if i annoy a few people, but, hey that's passion and it broke my heart watching my team lose the match this morning.
Sheva did not "miss" a "sitter" nor the penalty. He hit both shots right on target, Dudek made a great save, but, I doubt he knew anything about Sheva's follow up -- Although, I have yet to see the replay, until then, don't give me bull**** about it cause i'll see for myself. Also, he did nothing wrong with the penaly, he hit it on target, credit to Dudek for saving it regardless if he was 1 meter off his line. Once again, Sheva's goal, in my opinion, was not offside -- seriously, I try not to be biased.
As for the second goal - see rony's post mate.
6 Minutes is 50% huh? Once again, Milan totally outplayed Liverpool throughout the whole game, in my opinion of course.
As for Dida, please, did you even watch the match or are you just basing that on a biased english commentators opinion? Cause i sure as hell watched it and Dida didn't go off his line.
Then again this all happens in football, has for years and we can't stop the flow of this wonderful and cruel game.
Sorry again, congrats Liverpool, we ****ed ourselves for that 6 minutes and paid the price.
