Aye, Killswitch is the only decent band on that line-up. The rest are annoying kiddie scream-o bands. :(

Killswitch has a lot of "screaming" too....doesn't it? :p ......of course, it's usually in a deeper more "manly" tone.... :jambo::lui:

That being said, I doubt anything can compete with my concert plans for the summer

17th June: QOTSA
19th: SOAD
Late June-Early July: Roskilde Festival (Foo Fighters, Black Sabbath, Green Day, Fantomas, Mars Volta....Snoop Dogg :((H)!!!)
July 10th: GIANTS OF ROCK - Slayer, Rammstein + others... :rockman:

Only got tickets for QOTSA and SOAD so far though :(

Scream-o as in emo-type screaming. The whining/crying kind.

I'm thinking of saving up for this years Ozzfest, I don't know yet. Main Stage: In Flames!, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Black Label Society, etc. The second stage will consist of crap as usual (except for Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Killswitch, Mastodon).

Awesome.

In other concert news, I'm going to see The Eels live in the Royal Concert Hall, London on May 23rd. I love the Eels, one of my very favourite band, and they have a full string orchestra with them this time so there should be some great new stuff - I heard they're going to do the whole Electroshock Blues with strings, that should be awesome. I cant wait, only problem is it's right in the middle of my exams :(

I'm also seeing Status Quo again in the summer for the hell of it, and then, in November the Motorhead anniversay tour which is gonna f*cking rock!

Thanks. My school makes me take General Studies, I've skipped half the lessons and done no homework or revision for it.... ever. For Physics, did you have the brick question for your planning excersize?

Slayer won't be there, but Iron Maiden compensates for everything. :D It'll be held in Nissan Pavillion in VA. Definitely going.

Rise Against not so much as emo, more political punk. Decent ****.

The Used a bunch of hairy, smelly kids who make out with each other.

The rest suck balls.

Yeah, about that old 80s metal scene, uh, yeah. (N) Laame.

I dont really like shows with lots of top bands playing - I much prefer just one top band and maybe a cult band in support, to me it's much better to hear the whole repetoir's, and maybe some variations, than just one or two well known hits from a variety of bands.
