Takeover Bids

Is it just me or are there takeover bids for clubs flying around left right and centre.

Im Arsenal and my chairman decides to he wants to step down, fair enough although this would never happen at Arsenal in real life. He decides to start discussing stuff in July which means a embargo is put on all Boardroom matters
eg TRANSFERS

in the transfer window Iam unable to negotiate with clubs and players, this is bullocks

Im playing with Milan and Zaragoza so no takeovers there..

However, in my game, a "Trinidad and Tabagon Tycoon" has just bought Cagliari and put a something around a massive €60m for their transfers!!

funny thing is, as soon as the takeover was complete, Cagliari were already relegated

but they made big bids. they tried to sign Ronaldo, Mascherano, Tevez but check this out..

They happen way too often. One season in and half the SPL has been taken over.

Ive seen one so far, in 1.5 season. FC Twente was bankrupt and taken over. They're still in financial crisis but have decided to expand the stadium.

i was about to be 'taken over' when i was at leeds, but then i switched clubs and didn't care what happened, but in my game Milan and Roma are switching boards

I rather have some bloke taking over than having an empty budget. I quitted Notts County to take over Osasuna but quit after three dreadful losses. Joined Udinese and guided them to fourth (they were fourth already when I joined). Their board was as stingy as people who worked at McDonalds. I had to reduce the wage bill before being to offer mega contracts and I missed out on few quality bosmans.

None in mine either. There was one where a chairman who wanted to step down but there was no take over bid of any kind.

Valencia is poor in this game.
