Tabasco game

Bobby

The Legend
I was bored and started a Mexican league game on FM, I chose Tabasco as my team.

Club Lagartos de Tabasco
Mexican First Division 'A'
Goals: Fight bravely against relegation
Transfer Budget: $385,815 (American)

Transfers In:
Mariano Varela (Midfielder, Right) - Free, unattached
Fernando Juarez (Striker, Central) - Free, unattached
Edson Astivia (Defender/Def. Midfielder, Left) - Free, unattached

Due to everyone rejecting i only got 2 preseason matches, so very little prep. I should have played against the kids, but wasen't thinking.

Pre: Tabasco 0-1 Zacatepec
Pre: Tabasco 2-1 Jaguares

Decent results, but the team still left something to be desired, and nobody wanted to join.

I started my season with those 3 new players, the Mexican Jens Lehmann is my goalkeeper and captain, he wears 91 for some reason.

The Mexican league, like other latin leagues, is split into 2 seasons. Opening and Closing, but Mexico has playoffs. The champion of each season has a playoff at the end, the winner is promoted. The 19th placed team on average points (over the last 3 seasons) goes down, and the outright bottom team goes down.

I started off against Cd. Obregon, won 1-0 in an ugly display of football, my attacking midfielder got on the end of a freekick and skuffed one passed the goalkeeper.

I lost to Queretaro next, neither team was very good, it was 1-0 on a goal deflected by my keeper.

Against Leon my team acted like it knew what it was doing, scored 3 in the first 10 minutes and held out from there. Keeper was brilliant.

Next away to At. Delfines, they scored early in the 2nd half on a break, one of mt center backs against 3 attackers. They took the game to me from there, but I got lucky with a freekick on the edge of the area. Pastor Lozano scored, with the help of the wall deflecting it. 1-1.

In the next match i just plain out played Celaya, and the 2-1 scoreline should have been more. The bad news was one of my 2 central mids got sent off, forcing me to play an attacking midfielder there for the next few games.

I'm away to heavily favored Colima next, I currently sit 2nd in the table but it's very tight, the top 3 are all on 10 points. 4th and 5th on 9, with the next 5 all on 8.

Starting XI
hmm nice i am too lazy to re-insatll FM2005 now because i know i will get bored fast so all i have to do is wait for FM2006!!!

My opinion is that whichever team you take you always win. I mean when i take panathinaikos in my game i always win the league. I mean i make 1 good transfer every year (1st year i bought Cesar Delgado who ruled everyone and played 4 positions). If you have a second division team you have a chance of getting a draw from real madrid or chelsea or barca. When in real life if it was for a cup you would get owned. I believe they should make it harder (if you noticed it is much harder to score most shoots go well out) but that's not nice they should make it harder to give pass etc. because some shots are too easy and they miss them...

Actually Fm has been made a LOT harder than Cm03/04. I definitely dont win the league always, once i got a good team, not like the 20 league titles, 16 CLs and 15 dutch cups I got in 20 years PSV on 03/04.
