BTW. What's the deal with that colourfull textures ? Does each colour defines fabric type ? If it's that, could you tell which colour defines which fabric ?

Here is a quick reference of what they do.

Actually this image explains better. The engine uses the green channel of the image to assign different bump maps. There are 4 possible textures, no blending. Then the red channel defines the specularity of the shirt from 0=matte to 255= shiny. The blue channel defines the glossiness from 0=diffuse to 255=pointy specular.

My colors are different from the common purple that stock kits are using because i like more for my kits the plain texture (bottom right in the central square) than the slightly rough one (top left). If you don't feel comfortable changing this values i recommend you to use the eye dropper and paint them as ea does.

you have to set the textures to map channel 4. i don't know how to do it in the software you're using. which one is it?

Thanks Suraka. Now I get it all. Just one thing:

On that image with description you wrote that dots are shown when green range is between 64-128 but I get dots when my green range is between 0-64. I don't know if you are wrong or my 3ds max is weird.

could you please tell me how to decompress the files RX3 to see the textures and models of the faces? thank you very much .... I export from and to folders with a tool that came out recently but not as open RX3 wait for help. THANK YOU

Sorry but i don't know how to export rx3 files from the game files.

No sabría decirte cómo exportar los modelos en rx3 de los archivos. yo los saco del juego mientras está corriendo.

3d minikit maker is another .max file not uploaded already. First I need to extract 1 specific texture from the game files, waiting to get my hands on some texture editor.

the models are ripped with 3D Ripper DX.
