Exactly! The English are feeling a bit insecure 'cause they haven't won a WC since 1966, so they beat up on U.S. Soccer. Well, I've got news for you guys;

We know that MLS isn't as good as the EPL! But we also don't spend billions of pounds on foreign players. :p

In WC 2002, the U.S.A. won 2 games and drew one. England won 3 games and drew two.

David Beckham isn't as good as you think he is.

Freddy Adu isn't as good as we think he is.

Landon Donovan could run rings around Man U's defense.

Oh, and it's a FIELD, not a PITCH. :D

Thierry Henry couldn't, so what makes you think he can. ;)

My team Leigh RMI was paired with Charleston in the "A-League/Conference Crossover": http://switch.to/crossover . Remember doing a bit of reading up on them at the time, they had some quite good players on paper

Now a Conference/A-League match up sounds fair, that's a great oppurtunity for some even competition.

Yeah, I was exagerrating about Donovan. But Man U is overrated, you have to give me that. :D

8 EPL titles
3 FA Cup titles
1 CL title
7 CL quaters in a row
don't make you overrated.

We've just had a poor year by our standards, but The FA can take credit for that, Londoners. :f***:

No it's just stating fact like Lakers would thump Crystal Palace in a basketball match. No we aint insecure, we are a ghood footballing nation and have a fantastic league, so even if our country don't do well we have club teams to root for. David Beckhaqm not as good as u think he is?, well u obviously havent seen him throughout his career if u had u wouldnt say that. Landon donovan would get owned in the EPL.

This is just to typical. 'Cause after Sunderland comes in and destroys Charleston, you know how the English press will report it? "Worst English team annhilates the stupid Yanks" I swear, could they do anything ELSE to humilate US Soccer? Play an MLS team, for God's sake. :kader:

I seriously doubt the english press will give a **** about a nationwide team playing an A-League team. Seriously, the only way they would care is if Sunderland got beat, and even then as a non-competitive match it will get maybe a dozen lines of column space maximum.

I couldn't give a flying f*ck if an English beat/loss to an American team. It's a freindly which doesn't prove the slightest.

I'm sure the press won take much notice. They probably wont even publish the result let alone compile a match report.
