Summer, The End, and Back To School...thread

Back to school, back to school.

I still have a month left, but everything has really slowed down, party-wise and doing anything fun in general. With everyone getting ready to go off to college or HS no one seems to have time to do anything more than go to a movie and a dinner, which gets expensive and boring. It seems like such a waste of a month.

My summer up until August, my summer was typical, a lot of hanging out, fun, but nothing really memorable now that I look back on my first two months of vacation. I hope I am going to Egypt, maybe Europe next summer.


As for college, I don't really like it, now that I have spent some more time on campus. Non of the staff seem to no where anything is. I had to hand in a form for some BS, I went on a wild goose hunt before giving up and going home. I went from building A to C,B,D,B,E,D,F,A ->home

are all colleges like that?

School sucks. I've got my pre-U finals coming up in 3 months & everyone's already busting their asses off. Better not screw this up or i'll end up sweeping drains for a living.

i'm starting College in about 3 weeks or so, i'm gonna hate seeing all my friends from primary school (ages 6-11 or summin), although i've got alot of my secondary school (11-16) mates coming with me to college so i suppose it'll be ok. i can't wait to have more freedom than i did at school.

see ive been through all this and i just laugh it all now, the days when you used to have 5-6 weeks off, at stupid uni im off for half the year.

Mind you other people will have the last laugh on me as i head off into actual work in 2yrs time.

Until then, I'm off until October then do nothing in January too

i got about a month left, i love the lazy lie-ins and the fact that i dont have any business coursework to do.

i can eat, sleep, play pes4 continuously if i want to, im not into doin overtime at work although i need the cash for driving and stuff, im hapy with 10.5 hours a week

im gettin pretty bored though, im in that period where you have known and tried it on with every girl in your year, they are all the same or they are goin out with people in the above year and so there is also a party slow down.

i am starting my college in three weeks as a freshman, my summer vacation was a piece of crap as i did was work everday, i had no fun except for 1 day on the beach- chicks in thongs made my day but that was it for the whole summer, College is freakin me off.

Going into my freshman year at University in September. I'm really dreading the school part as I'm in a program that could be out of my depths and failure is a possibility (:/).

Also, about 90% of the people I went to HS with (including all my friends) are all going to one or two of the same universities (mine not being one of them), so I have to start fresh .

Im in an all guys dorm, but theres an all girls dorm 10 feet away, and apparently my residence (and the girls) are nicknamed "the Bible Belt", so that'll be interesting when Im trying to hook up with girls

I'll get pretty much no football coverage on TV as well

And Ahmed, I still think its kinda early to be 'packing it in' for the summer. At least for me around August 20 is when the fun stops and ****s gets serious again

I had no "summer". I took classes throughout so it doesn't really seem like "back to college" for me.

Man... the next REAL break i'll be getting is when i graduate - Summer of 2006 that is... but i'll still have my minor to complete which will take me until December 2006.

F*ck this tough.... my girl is in Philly and I won't be getting action on a weekly and sometimes even monthly basis She was home all of summer so she came over to my apartment at the Uni pretty often.. with her in school again, its me and my trusty hands...

I worked my ass off all summer, I'm actually relieved I'm going back to college three weeks from now. I've been working close to 50 hours a week for almost three months now (two different jobs).

ive been at school for 1 week now, going on my 2nd. Summer was ok, went by WAY too fast, lots of footie, girlfriend and hanging out. All in all it was good because I got some college exposure at all 3 tournaments I was in, and had fun. But school sucks, 3 APs, 2 honors classes and a gay ass spanish 2 class All academics this year, but my classes are with my girlfriend and lots of my friends and my teachers are pretty sweet, so its cool.
