Suggestions for Skill Moves

Okay guys, what skill moves would you like to see in the game? Anything in particular?

It doesn't matter how fantastic they are, the more flambouyant the better.

Fake shot - that's used a lot in real life...

nutmeg would be nice

BTW I haven't actually played the game yet 'cause me sound blaster Live card cocked up. I'm waiting for a SonicFury to arrive at the mo.

Come to think of it, John or Ste:
Is there any way I could play the game without sound as it cuts back to the desktop after the intro movie (I can't wait any longer!)...?

I am currently playing WC98, and there are some great moves there... I suggest taking a look at the game... or even better, would you like mt to make a WMV video with the moves I find the better?

First of all, I have to tell you I am enjoying your game, despite the bugs, the gameplay is far better than Fifa. Some moves I would like to see would include:
1)a fake shot
2)a step over, double step over, let us do like 4 step overs if we like, such as denilson's move vs holland in the last word cup
3)shoulder fakes
4)let you push the ball out in front of you
5)any other real moves one would actually see in a real football match, please take out ridiculus moves like the 360 spin(when was the last time you saw someone do that)or that hopping thing.

Some good moves I liked were in Primera Division stars(the first one), im not sure if the same moves are in Premier League Stars. Other moves like a rainbow kick should be very difficult to do. Also, make the moves specific to some players, like in ISS 2000. For instance Owen and other forwards would have a special turn of some sort, while players like Neville would have no special moves . Also, could any new moves be worked into a patch for Uefa Challenge, or would we have to wait for Uefa Challenge 2? Keep listening to the fans, thats how you will get a quality product, unlike Fifa who has no interaction with its fans and as a result, their game has got worse and worse. Thanks for reading.

Phew, here we go again.
1:> Any football game needs free flowing and natural ball movement.
2:> Outside of the the left and right feet curving\dipping shots would be great.
3:> Close to the body, sole trap\flick\head .. chest trap\knee\knockon combo's would go down a treat. <South American Style>
4:> Push and run short balls to allow a player to ease around challenging players.
5:> None linear player selection to allow passing\lobs\crosses to be dispatched to any player that you choose to select.
6:> Goalkeepers that don't head out high back passes, did you add that one into the game as a feature.. a Bechenbuer\Adams\Chillivert all rolled into one. it works a treat too, but doesn't look too natural.
7:> Please eliminate the 360 waltz and the jump over the rabbit hole specials. <mentioned before by many>... Ned

It will be great to shield the ball since the players could tackle from behind
Maybe you could make it such that when I sprint, then shield/(stop suddenly) and sprint again, the defenders are tricked and could hardly catch up with me.

- Fake shot is a must since it was done so well in ISS.
How about Rivaldo's chip where he dinks the ball with one foot round the other. People will know what I mean, it would be good to do something like that on the turn?
The nutmeg really should be in there.
I was thinking how about a back heel shot or a back heel dummy type shot where if the ball is driven low towards goal and your player can half dummy/half back heel it to change direction wrong footing the keeper?
Nutmegging the keeper should be there I think...

Skill Moves already included -

Push ball in front - tap the skill move while you're sprinting.

With your back towards goal, tap skill move for a flicked ball over the players head (180 degree turn).

Cruyff Turn - Tap skill move button whilst in crossing area.

What's the skill move button?
Also, how about knocking th ball past a defender on one side of him and running past him on the other side - that's a realistic move.
Oh, and please please please get rid of the spin and Blanco hop

"Push and run short balls to allow a player to ease around challenging players." .. oh my, i should open my eyes and take note, it's already in the game, so sorry, silly me ..bassetjb, i use the microsoft sidewinder gamepad, and the skill moves are activated by the use of the left trigger button ..or you can remap the buttons through the controller options screen... Ned

I agree that shielding, especially with back to goal, would be a good move to include. It would also be great to have the ability to juggle the ball (either while stationary or while running).
