Strange Promotion Problem

Hi all,

I've tried searching in the forums for this problem but so far no luck so here's a new thread.

I'm playing Hull City in my second season and I just got promoted to the Premier League. However, when I go to player stats and leaderboard, I can only see the statistics of players of Championship teams who have been promoted to the Premier League.

It's not a game breaking issue but I'd like to fix it. Thanks in advance!

Which platform are you playing on?? Have you modified your database in any way (either directly or via a third party patch)?? If on PC would you be willing to send me the manager mode data file??

Hey StevePitts. Thanks for responding. Yup, it's on the PC and I modified it by expanding it. The only other things I've done is add the Santiago Bernabeu, some faces and kits. That's about it. And sure, I don't mind sending the manager mode data file . I just have to send the save file right?

Did you do all of your editing before starting the manager mode?? If not, then you are SOL (unless Rinaldo's Save My Career tool can save your bacon)

If the manager mode was started after you'd finished changing FIFA.DB then I'll need the save file, FIFA.DB and ENG.DB in order to make sense of your career data.

I actually edited after starting the manager mode, but I guessed that it screwed it up completely. So I started a new career to see if the problem still existed and it did. I also removed all my other save games to be sure.

Did you delete the squads file before trying to start a new manager mode??

Just click on my name in the left hand pane and select the 'Send email' option

Yup. I deleted the squad file too. I don't have a "My Squads" folder in My Documents at the moment.

Apologies for the delay as I've only just found the time to try and process your data but unfortunately I am unable to make head nor tail of the database because it is sufficiently different from the default layout to break my decoding routines. I do have handling such re-shaped (aka expanded) databases on my list of things to do but I'm unlikely to get to a task that big any time soon (it means a fairly fundamental rewrite of various internal elements of my code)
