Step by step starting a network game

Ok my friends and i want to start a network game on FM, i tried setting one up but no-one knew how to join.

truth is i don;t really know how to make and play a network game,:( can someone please explain to me how ?

i tried it when i was starting a new game but i don't think i did it right.

EDIT - does everyone have to be online when starting/playing the game?

it is very easy actually.
1) Host ticks ''run as server'' on, at preferences
2) Host sets up a game, just like you do normally (single player).
3) When the game is created the other players join by going to network play and click join and fill in the correct IP.

hmmm i thought that too. Shame that i can't play with my team! anyway it is like a league which starts and we play and make trasnfers just like sp with 2 managers eh? But then we have to play a whole league on net (think those who has dial up) to just meet at 2 or maybe 4 matches (with cup)? Bit annoying.
