Do any of you guys remember what Surdu has gone through 2 years ago while playing for us? :D

This is where you can see that players actually need a good coach in order to reach their full potential (see Surdu @ Brasov under Lucescu).

Good 2nd half, gr8 Surdu and Stancu, I hope they will keep playing together and listen to my thoughts (NO big striker upfront). :D Speed and tehnique is what football should be all about these days.

That's terrible. Hopefully they'll offer ppv again on gsptv.ro if not then free streams it is.

We will play either Flamurtari Vlorë (Albania) or Motherwell (Scotland) in the 3rd qualifying round if we get by Ujpest. Flamurtair won the first leg 1-0 in Albania. The first match will once again be played in Ghencea :mad:

FC Timisoara will play Shakhtar in the 3rd qualifying round of the CL (H). FC Vaslui will most likely play AC Omonia from Cyprus (they won the first leg 4-0).

True but we didn't do it against Ujpest. 2-0 is a good result but you just never know. I would of felt much more comfortable with a 3 goal advantage.

It's like giving him free. I don't see an intelligent move. Bergodi maybe has his facts for not keeping Lovin, but in this CM/CDM chrysis at Steaua, giving Lovin isn't something good.

I said it's like giving him for free because, Steaua gets first 100.000 euro then in the next years Munchen would give you other 400.000 + other 100.000 if they get into the first league. On the other hand, Becali has to give 500.000 euros to Sechelariu's FCM Bacau.

Lovin sucks ballls. He has been keeping down the Steaua midfield for a solid 2 seasons now. I'm glad he's gone.

it's such a shame that there won't be any team from Bucharest in CL...

IMO Romania will fall in UEFA Ranking next season

actually I don't think so. there's a better chance to win games in the Europa League, so as far as I'm concerned Unirea Urziceni can do crap in the CL as long as 2 Romanian teams manage to qualify from the group stage in the ex-UEFA Cup. that would be enough to make up for last season's negative score in Europe, right?

Not a very good performance but under the circumstances I don't really have anything to tell the players. One thing did really piss me off though; why does our defense always feel it's necessary to relax when we are up and the match is in the closing minutes? We allowed that goal like a bunch of amateurs.

Motherwell is gonna be tough in the 3rd qualifying round if what they did to that Albanian team today is any indication.

I'm glad we're through and we did it by getting two wins (coefficient points ftw) but I'm not very encouraged by our play thus far.

Overall, I thought it was a good performance, but, again, I was pissed off by our attitude when we were leading with 2-0. This has to change. Again, that stupid night in England where we did this...
