Starting Career In 2nd Divison

I want to start a career in the 2nd division of a european league and im open for suggestions of who to be, not the english league though! So spain, italy, france, germany etc
Say who? And why?

When I start a career in a lower division, since I really don't know much about them, and plan on putting my stamp on them anyway, I go with a team whose kits I like. Very simplistic. Or I choose a team that's been recently relegated and try to rebuild them to top form.

I go for a team that had a short golden age or period in which they won a European Cup, Europa League or something like that and try to get them back to the same glory! I chose Nottingham Forest last year for this reason because they won 2 European Cups consecutively under the mighty Clough!

I chose Nottingham this season for the exact same reason XD
