Just in case.... You can clone any stadium with CM16. You just need to delete any eventual stadium_XID.rad that might be generated inside the radiosity folder after cloning, then regenerate and you will not experience any crash. (ie: you can clone Anfield ect...)

Hi guys. 2 quickies:

1. Is there a post anywhere here explaining all the steps required for installing a stadium with CM? (I searched for it but couldn't find anything)
2. If you do install a new stadium, does that mess up your exisiting careers?

Many thanks.

Well, since nobody seemed available for my previous questions, let me try my luck again now since I've managed to install the stadium: I assigned the new Tottenham stadium to the Spurs team in CM 15, but it never shows up in game, whatever trick I try to pull (I have even cloned the stadium and assigned it again).

Long story short: any time I try to start a new career with Spurs, another stadium shows up (or nor stadium at all and I get to choose one from the generic stadiums). It's like the game stubbornly avoids to assign the new stadium to Spurs, lol.

Is there any step that I am missing here?
Many thanks.

Hello, can somebody please guide me as to how I can install a stadium without it crashing the game? I have tried with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium many ways, as an addon with a new ID in CM 16 then pasting the files in the folders and regenerating, and also I have tried to replace White Hart Lane, but I get a crash in game when I try to load the stadium. Help please?

This a copy paste from one of my post in another thread:

If you want to put a stadium at the place of an already existing stadium you should get the id of the particular stadium, edit the name (also inside glares.lnx files) of the files of your custom stadium to match that id, put your name edited files in the appropriate game folders (data/scenassets/stadium or fx or crowdplacement) replace if asked. Go to CM16 load your DB then regenerate (you can regenerate with the tool of your choice). Start the game, the old EA stadium should be replaced by your custom one. Warning: This works with most EA ids but not all. Some newer stadium come with radiosity file, using those ids would cause game crash at day time. If you replace mostly generic stadium you are safe.

If you want to add a stadium with a new id, you need to open CM16, load your db, go to the stadium icon, select a stadium that you will use a base, click clone, select your id (I tend to prefer using the id proposed by cm16), edit the stadium informations to your liking, save, go to the team icon, select the team for which you want to assign the stadium, click the refresh icon, assign the stadium to your team, save. Do not close cm16 (you can but why closing it to reopen it just after?). Now edit the files names of your custom stadium to match the id you picked in cm16 (don't forget the glares.lnx files) and like mentioned above put the file with the edited name in the appropriate game folder, replace when asked. Go back to CM16 regenerate and you are good to go. In game, reset the squad in the custom team section, go to profile, save squad. Warning: 1) Depending on the stadium you will use as a base to clone, .rad file might be generated in the data/sceneassets/radiosity folder, delete any file you will find in this folder (if it exists) before regnerating (if you did regenerate before noticing the presence of this file simply regenerate after deleting them.). Those files would cause game crash otherwise. 2) New ids do not have proper night atmosphere and lightning, no solution has been found yet. But three "ghost" EA ids exist (they do not correspond to stadium in game), 174, 177 and 225. If you select one of this id the corresponding stadium will have proper night lightning and atmosphere.

I hope it can be useful.

I have tried everything now, even what you said in your post, I tried White Hart Lane clone to 174, Forest Park clone to 174, tried unchecking the daytime box which someone else suggested, still the game crashes when starting a game.

The one, the only, the absolute solution is this: USE STADIUM SERVER! No night time bug, no day time crash, assignement of your liking (single to team, single to tournament, multiple to team, multiple to tournament) and easy as hell to use. It only has one basic requirement: owning a legal copy of the game

Okay, thanks. I will try it.

Guys, do you know if there's like a stadium assignement file that mentions which team ID goes to which stadium ID and perhaps one can edit that file?
I strongly believe there is a setting somewhere that overrides whatever assignement I perform either with CM or Stadium Server. It went that far that when I finally believed I managed to assign the updated Etihad to Man City and it even showed this stadium in the match preview screen, when the game starts I am somehow magically finding myself playing on some random stadium.
Yes, it is that funny! :-D

I installed some updates to Old Trafford and Anfield but the only thing that was "updated" is now both stadiums look like a joke, with no croud and they are entired colured in yellow and red, like something went teribly wrong, lol. Any ideas how to fix this?

Nobody seems to bother answering questions around here anymore, anyway thought I'd make one last try.
Thoughts on why a stadium who looks perfect in kick off mode will look like that each time a try to play during career mode?

Check the files names and wait a bit more before entering the match. Listen to the beep first, then count to ten and then enter the match

Hey guys i just tried something and i realised what is "night bug" when creating new ID stadium with CM16.

Looks like that game DOESNT load night file (example stadium_xxx_3_textures).
GAME only load day file, so if you setup 22:00 time it will be like afternoon.
You can see that if you rename for example stadium day file stadium_197_1_textures with night file (any working stadium ID like O Dromo) and you will get same result! You will have ingame same 22:00 afternoon shadows as new ID stad. BECAUSE ITS DAY FILE you renamed to night.

SO we must find out, why game isnt loading night file. That has to be something with DB file.
